both the new battlefield and the PS3 very own GOW3 have minimal textures, what is it with people and their textures these days, I only care how it looks in motion, don't get me wrong there are games that need brilliant textures such as Crysis and UC2, but not all games need perfect textures, in fact it spoils some games.

will always have peripherals, Natal for example will work with or without them, but I think it would be a good mix if both are used, this is the problem, people who don't like Natal get upset if we have the addition of an extra peripheral, and people who don't like move moan because it has one. Personally I can see the promise in both of them.
What has that got to do with anything? other than they want the game to be the best it can be.

I think replay value is important though, for example every Halo game I have played is like a different game each difficulty.

Tomb Raider is more comparable to UC2 same as Alone in the dark of silent hill might be compared to Alan Wake, both Alan Wake and UC2 are much better than the games that I mention but you cannot compare them to each other because they are too different.
