I cannot see one game alone taking the GOTY award this year, as I have said I am not a hack and slash fan so GOW3 still would not be my GOTY, but having said that the quality shines through, but can you really say a game like GOW3 can be better than a game like Mass Effect 2? to fully appreciate how good GOW3 is I suppose you would have to dumb down the graphics so that all that was left was the game, but it's not just graphics with GOW3, it really does look epic, it certainly will win the GO...

I have noticed the lack of textures also but do we have to put out massive amounts of textures on everything to make it look good? I mean ghostbusters apparently had tons of polygons and great textures, maybe it has more polygons than GOW3, but it doesn't look better. Natal does not have such a problem, I think a great game for Natal would be if like you are able to scan a skateboard you can maybe make your own shields and stuff, cardboard cut outs lol, that's the beauty of Natal, it is much more flexible, IMO Sony fans are a little disapointed.
