Question: have they let you down yet? COD4 is the most played game I own, I have no reason not to have high hopes for this game.

over MGS4 because I do not have a PS3 co's I cannot afford one, so I will just have to save my excitment for later.
aspect like the 1st one I will be happy, open world should mean the ability to walk off a path into the forest, graphics wise it looks nice, but I expect it to get better, Star Ocean for example looks miles better.

but I actually prefer the look of the PS3 version, I think the colour balance is more realistic than the Xbox-360 version, with games like Assasins Creed the PS3 version did look washed out, but in this case I think it actually looks more realistic with the PS3 version than with the Xbox-360.

but with regards to Xbox version 'one' I believe that the install base was not growing enough to justify the 3rd party publishers carrying on supporting it, the PS2 had too much momentum, I mean how many new games to you see for the gamecube? not many I reckon and probably for the same reasons, the Xbox-360 has already beaten the number of consoles sold in the original Xbox's lifespan so with that in mind I expect the Xbox-360 support to go on much longer.

I have an xbox-360 but even I find your comment ridiculous, this game looks like it could be done on the original Xbox or maybe even the PS2 (apart from the water), but as one guy said "I have seen worse", horrid is overdone, same as saying it would look worse on the PS3.

The single player looks rubbish so far but I actually no longer buy a game for the single player, seriously unless we are talking Gears of War, Zelda, Metal gear etc, you know games that have a really great single player element then I just don't buy them, I am officially a multiplayer fan, so based on this I say the multiplayer in Resistance 2 is what would make me buy it, plus the graphics in Resistance 2 (multiplayer)look better than the single player anyway. I would buy a PS3 for this game, why I hear you say when there are games like Killzone 2 coming, well I have a hardcore games machine in the Xbox-360 so right now I am being swayed towards the PS3 for the kids/education games and the Bluray, the PS3 and the Xbox-360 have too much in common, titles like Afrika are not harcore but relaxing which gives you a whole new twist.

as a father this interests me, the problem these days is we focus too much on the hardcore demgraphic, if you have been playing games for 20 years then this might not exite you, but if your a dad and wants his kids to understand nature then this is great, kids have not seen the things you have so this is all new to them....
Great potencial in europe trust me, if it was on Xbox-360 I bet the achievments system would be brilliant.
