I know I know there not making films for it anymore but it can upscale to 1080p and there is still a good back cataloge of films which is worth getting, but having watched one or two films there is a differnce to a normal DVD but not that much.
I expect your upscaled DVD's also look good on that TV.
secondly does it matter? because most of you only talk about the negatives anyway, and TayTayShaniqua I don't know you buddy but you need to get out more, you sound like you are a little bit obbsessed my friend, I mean if it looks good and plays good then it is good right? Clearly they are both great consoles, go on about normal maps all you like but at the end of the day all that matters is if the game turns out to be quality.

you do make some good points, but don't you see that what makes Xbox-live so great is it's ease of use and a infrastructure that is there already without the developers having to implement all the other stuff themselves, come on man give credit where credit is due, the whole point of this is that MS have made it look like not such a big deal so when things take so long PS3 owners are right if they feel a little cheated.

the update is not that good, if the games developers have to make the decision whether you can or cannot have music in game then really what has changed? also I ask again can you go from in game chat to private chat without affecting the game or having to leave the game?

You misunderstood my comment, when I say compare I mean compare there accomplishments as true nextgen graphical powerhouses, I think they both look great, or should I say ...
There is no flame in my comment just two games that have really raised the bar.
I imagine they have lost money in the process, I expect once the 3rd parties or those who have a stake in the dual shock start to make money from it then the pricess will drop.
you likely have many gadgets that have come from remolds of casing or even if they re-used all the old casing screws but nothing else is that not still a refurb? all I am saying is that we should recycle by any means possible, why would a person feel screwed if what they own refurbed or not is still in line with the new stock. IMO this is not even news worthy.
Just because it is a refurb does not make it a RROD job, the mainboard will be completely up to date, one of the bosses at MS stated that when you send in a Xbox-360 for repair it gets a full refurb, plus what sort of attitude is it in life not to recycle, you cannot just bin old stock, where do you put it? for all I know I might have a refurb but it does have the new board with HDMI and works fine, there are too many doomsday bringers on this site.
