I am sure I could pick holes in what you just said but it all seems like a good idea to me, also I agree people are responsible for there own actions, and guess what, I bought a Xbox-360 because ....drum roles....I wanted one.
you will know that it offers a wonderfull variety of options, there will be friends of mine dusting off there Xbox-360 just to play this game, it really is one of the best online shooters around.
remember they were only trying to cater for the none hardcore, now that the prices are low there should be no reason for a core user not to buy the HDD, or just trade in for the new model, I got £100 trade in for my core which I replaced with the newer model which cost me £50 because I got the arcade model with HDMI, I already had the HDD so that was not a problem, obviously now I have a fresh warranty.

it does look good, I do not like all the gray but the graphics are very good, but I just don't see what it is doing that is new? it looks generic gameplay wise, and barrells! WTF, this is not a Killzone only problem but why do we always end up with loads of flamable barrells all over the place, is this some kind of war strategy to place these things right next to you so that someone can just shoot them and blow you up? Actually I did some checking and those are shots taken from the recent build, but based on Gamespys preview they do not do it justice.

Xbox version number 1 was rock solid.
I upgraded my Xbox-360 to the new model and it was really quiet, then one of my friends kids picked it up and dropped it and now it is noisy, the new drives are much quieter but I have to admit that I have been tempted a few times to install whisper fans, but ofcourse that would void the warranty.
