Not the same with Bluray because DVD's are still sufficient, but back in the day when DVD was a really big deal Sega was left IMO with the best console, crisper graphics than the PS2,but the lack of DVD is what did it. Also there online service would never have succeeded on 56k.
Xbox-360 games have never had a load time problem, it already loads quick enough, for me the manin benefit is that it reduces noise and extends the life of the DVD drive.
Is that a bad thing? ofcourse not so stop whining, you know who you are.
the only way this would affect the warranty would be if the firmware detected the change in hardware.

the Xbox-360 has always given me a consistent gaming expierience, for £200 UK I can get the 60gb model, for a High Definition gaming rig thats good value, I also now think that the PS3 is good value, cannot we all agree on anything.
Would definatly buy and try.

lets not forget "Sony only makes quality reliable hardware", not the exact words but some would have you believe that Sony hardware is faultless, obviously they are not, I also see that the RROD xbox-360 issue gets loads of criticism but for some reason when Sony makes a bad product it turns into a Xbox-360 bashing topic once again....

Gears of war 2 looks better than Killzone 2 graphically but KZ2 has better animation and therfore looks more realistic....
Make of that comment what you will but both the PS3 and the Xbox-360 should have plenty left, e.g. if we ever get a nextgen Zelda on either console (which we will not) then I am sure Mr. Miyamoto (is that how you spell it) would wow us, we tend to forget about artistic direction which can really make a difference, I am sure we will see a lot more out of bot...
the PS3 is selling well due to new software, the Xbox-360 price drops combined with future hits will keep selling, the 360 is a very good value console and people will buy it, heck if I was a businessman who just wanted a cheap video conferencing solution I would buy the 360, those that have used it already know that the communications side of things on the 360 is top notch.

the graphics on the PS3 are getting better as time goes by, I like that consoles are a challenge because the amount of RAM some PC games require is a joke, I mean why do they need all that RAM? I mean the fact that console games are close to a high end PC is a joke.
The Xbox-360 has a better GPU with better textures but the PS3 does seem to have the potencial for better physics due to the Cell, so even if the PS3 has worse textures the ability to do better physics can often make the game look and run better, ask anyone who has built PC's, you add Ram a new CPU or a new GPU you will see a difference in performance (obviously), but in some cases you will just upgrade the CPU but will still see an increase in looks and performance, the question is how good ...
