3DS w/o 3D is a dumbed down NGP. Both in graphics and control scheme options.
But hey, if you're happy with Mario, Zelda, Cooking Mama and POKEMON and a longer battery life. It's still decent. Not to mention more pocket friendly.

failure to mention one of the most important feature of the NGP for core gamers:
Two (Micro) analog sticks.
Have fun playing FPS that forces you to use gyro, accel, touchscreen, etc.. NOT because you want to but because you don't have a choice.. hmph!

Crysis is Photorealistic and KZ is more "artistic" it depends on your preference. Just look at KZ's colors.. overly saturated.. but it has great effect.
Crytek put far too much objects in the consoles and the object pop up is quite annoying.
The PC version with the right hardware will blow anything out there "photorealistic" wise anyway so no point.

With "proper" and aggressive advertising, you can even sell crap.

Like how ISOs are to CSOs.. I am sure it's pretty simple to just think of Sony heavily compressing the files therefore fitting in significantly smaller capacity than BluRay Discs.
With heavy compression comes with longer loading times not necessarily quality asset difference.
Hopefully, terrible loading times are offset with NGP's RAM and computing power.
BTW, I am not a tech genius and must have been just talking my azz off.

Should have mentioned that the NGP has a PLUS (+) and is a 4 core GPU..
2 cores for Apple Iphone 4 GPU, IIRC.

Let's just see when Crysis 2 comes out. PC is king of multiplats with the right hardware and other setup.
Well, as long as you're going to be really happy spending more on hardware and it does require some technical skills. There's some high fail rate and trouble shoot too when building your own righ.

Kinda pointless sometimes, this wouldn't force them to create new IP's specifically for the NGP. We'd get tired of "ports" xD
Oh well, they'd be force to create new IPs anyway for NGP as it would likely be a safer platform for about a few months or years. I bet PS3 piracy is beginning to pick up so yeah.. transfer to NGP atm.
You can keep your auto stereoscopic 3d that increases eye strain for now.
I'd keep my OLED 5 incher multi touch screen, multi touch backpad, better graphics and a 2nd nub.. oh and a likely android app store.
