I smell PSP2 with 3D..
Hmm or maybe... Sony buys some contract for a temporary "exclusive license" for Tegra 3 for a bit of time before other companies can legally start using the Tegra 3 with consumer products released to public.
I really hope so.
I wouldn't mind the PSP2 to be a flagship power house in graphics output on a small system just like how the PSP1 was during its era (early months since PSP1 release).
PSP2 + Mini HDMI + TV out = a Playstation 2.5 on the go.
If it really has decent graphics, I wouldn't mind plugging it up on my tv ;)
I liked the article specially the point where it seems to imply that "small" games matter if they satisfy a decent chunk of a market. Apple is getting pretty good at this.
I don't think Apple is to be ignored in the handheld gaming section specially now.
It could become a scarier competition later on if they don't keep an eye on this company.

On an almost unrelated note: I can't believe FF Type 0 is still coming out to PSP1 even after the system is completely open to pirates and hackers.
Sony needs at least a touch screen and a gyroscope that will appeal to kiddies. They are a big market share.
Targeting teens and up isn't that good for Sony but hella good for me for someone who wants "not dumbed" down stellar titles.

How about make a feature where there's 2 settings:
default and max graphics settings. So we can choose to run in a less battery consuming setting whenever we want to.
FLOP if it doesn't offer "PRE PSP2" games.
WIN if it manages to release at least 3 stellar game titles during it's first 3 months into cosumer market that utilizes
the 2 pseudo analogue nub well,
the gyroscope
the touch screen
and look 3 times better than the best looking PSP games.

It can no longer be just a simple device if it wants to compete well nor should it only target "core" gamers.
I am saying this because I want this handhelds overall success not just because I wanted games that do not feel like "ports" on a handheld.
