I think that's quite of an issue.. likely one of the reasons there aren't as much "AAA" handheld titles as much as a lot would've wanted.
The article should have also dealt with pricing schemes with mobiles and the impending tactile controls for mobile devices.

JPN sales are back to lower numbers w/ no real substantial software even with already having a price cut.
Unless ofc.. there's gonna be a huge title and bundle just after E3.

As for KZM comparison, I think that's arguable.
MC5 is likely to release @ Q4.. near KZM release.
$ 39.99 4v4 game vs $ 7.99 6v6 game..
Sure it's inferior but KZM will be questionable at x5 the price for a lot of the prospective buyer.
