I wish Mark Cerny makes the announcement at E3. He is the architect father of the PS4 and I really hope this NEO stuff has been made under his lead.

Yes they did but there was a segment still interested in it and willing to pay it. The same with PlayStation. No one is requested to buy it, Is optional and you will still play the same games on both consoles with no special versions for Neo.

I don't know how to feel about this. The performance upgrade is not that much to justify paying 300 if that is all that's really going to do as we don't know official information.
Maybe this is good for those who don't own a PS4 yet but for those who already have it, doesn't look like the upgrade if worthy unless they take my PS4 in trade in for the new PS4 and I only end paying like 99 then ok.

X1 market is not that big compared to the competition. It is best if they release it on PC to help with the sales but after the Quantum Break PC fiasco I don't know if PC players will buy it and rather get it illegally.
If it was on PS4 only then I would say ok because the PS4 market is very huge compared to xbox.
Is the same with Quantic Dreams and Sony. They are independent but they prefer to make their games exclusive to PlayStation. Also, is now the same with Hideo Kojima now that he has an independent studio, they are going to make their first game exclusive for PS4 first and then, most sure a year, released it in other platforms and that is because of his long relationship with Sony.
It is sad for them that Quantum Break was an average game plague with unnecessary TV episodes...
Is more a re imagined game than a remake. It includes many aspects that were not part of the first game so is not actually a remake.
Good job to Insomniac. The game has been received very well with all but positive reviews and a metacritics score of 87. Another high rated PS4 exclusive this gen and for $40, is a sweeter deal.
This review match the game metacritics score of 77. An average game not for everyone and obviously did not lived to the hype. Even Ratchet and Clank got a better score with metacritics 87.
Maybe Remedy can finally focus on Alan Wake now.

I have a Samsung Gear VR and I am having lots of fun even when it is really a cheap VR device. I already know that I will enjoy PSVR even more and visual fidelity is not going to be any type of problem.
If the Samsung Gear VR has already been a hit among its users, people are going to enjoy PSVR even more. Also, PSVR has the best refresh rate which in VR the fresh rate is more important.
The problem is that on the PC market, MS also has fierce competition and they already lost with their first initiative games for Windows. And by the look on his now they are going with Windows 10 store, is not going to be different.
Not only PlayStation has more and better exclusives but they have the highest rated exclusives this gen too.
I also pray that there is an exchange offer for this for example...
