After seeing burnout 4, it seemed different. I loved Burnout 2&3, though. As long as I can do mindless crashing for fun and get cash for the amount of damage like in 2&3, I'll be happy. Still, I'm not sure if I can afford this game. I still have to get Uncharted, KZ2, MGS4, Folklore, FFXIII(if it comes out this year), GOW3(if it comes out this year) and a number of other games. It's not us PS3 fans that are making it seem like you're losing exclusives. It's magazines(NG2, for example, and it was a typo), and now a retailer. Most of us PS3 fans don't really care about this game as we have MGS4. It's only the rabid ones who're going "HAHAHAHAHA Z0MGZ J00 L0ZD3D T3H EXCLUZIVEZ! OMGZLOLOZ!" And I think Ubi may want to compete against MGS4 possibly, though I'm sure more PS3 users would get MGS4 than SCC.

Not so sure I believe this yet. When I hear it straight from a dev's mouth or from other sources I'll believe it. I don't really care. MGS4 is all that matters to me in that genre of games, other than SOCOM. Of course, SOCOM: Confrontation is online-only and not stealth based. Either way the only stealth-based games I like are MGS4 and SOCOM. Any new news on Confrontation?
I don't like the UE at all. The only game I've ever seen true texture load-ins are UE games. I think dev's should use the Havok engine. Folklore used it(If I remember correctly) and it looked great. Also, doesn't Halo use it? Also, what engine is Uncharted using?
I'm pretty sure Rare owns Goldeneye, and they made it too... obviously. But the same is with Banjo Kazooie, BK3 is going to the 360(exclusively). The DC can run linux? How? Are you talking about on a live cd or something? I have my DC still, but I had to take the lid off because it would make the disk stop spinning (for some reason) but anyways enlighten me on this linux with DC! :D First Ubuntu Linux on my PC and PS3. Cerulean is wrong, actually. The DC was much more powerful than the PS2. Oh, and the 360 has a stronger GPU. The PS3 is still much, much stronger when using the Cell and RSX together, and correctly. Also, this game wasn't entirely downgraded, just ported to 360. I am Anti-Microsoft, but unlike you, I'm not an idiot.

MGS is popular. Why not have plenty of gameplay with lots of cinematics as well? MGS4, I doubt will get as overhyped as Halo 3. People were acting like Halo 3 was the second coming or something. We won't be seeing solid snake on mountain dew. We wont have t-shirts with master chief on them. We wont have hardly any hype like all PS3 games. 360 has the same amount of RAM. And the PS3 can be just as good as a high end PC(one able to run crysis on full detail) if programmed properly. The cell is both a processor and a graphics card. Combine the cell and the RSX's 256mb RAM of memory and you'd probably have yourself atleast a gig(if not more). Also, I can't explain how, but consoles do act differently than PC's. Sure it's the same hardware-style as the PC, with the motherboard, RAM, processor... etc. But somehow it's just... differ...
Wow is this site filled with idiocy. To the first posts.. The reason 360 ports to PS3 are better on 360 is the game is made on the 360 architecture. All of the 360's graphics processing is on the GPU, while the PS3 uses both the CELL and RSX. The RSX is barely used. And, yes, the 360's GPU is more powerful than the PS3's. Only by a fraction though. Oh, but the CELL and RSX together makes it 2x as powerful(probably more).

I dont see how it could've overheated considering it's been on for months and it's been around 50-60 degrees in my room(i live in the country, always strong winds, blowing at my room, 150 year old farm house.. yeah) and I don't have a heater. Oh well. After that happened though I got an HDTV(cleared up alot of space on the table it was on) so i put the PS3 under it, its been colder honestly. Not saying the position made an effect on the heat, I think it was more the elevation.
It was on for 4 months straight, and I went to sleep(Folding @ Home was on) and I woke up and the PS3 was on standby, the red light flashing. No idea what happened(overheat?) but I just simply flipped the switch in the back off and then back on, rubbed my finger on the power place, worked fine.. Been on for 4 weeks now.
