WOW!!! Sony got ARM multi-core chips running inside of the PSVita. So this explains how the NeXBOX overall design can be smaller and CHEAPER to produce, hence keeping production costs low.

They seem to look about the same, for as of the x360 has slightly deeper color, sharper textures & darker black shading than the ps3 but thats about it, far as I can tell. Therefore, So what? We had the same type visuals DIFFERENCES throughout ALL the previous COD:MW games on both systems.........I already bought the MW3 360 version because I prefer to play FPS on the x360 anyway cuz of the controller. I rather play EVERYTHING else on my PS3 because of of it's controller.
I just disapprove on the sounds effects used for the weapons. The the hollywood style action gameplay is to be expected. But infinity ward really need to REDO the weapons sounds, Take a page from the ARMA2 sounds for there guns.... IMO

My gripes about the weapons listings is..
1)Shotguns: Dump the USAS-12 and replace it with the AA-12. One of the other U.S. shotgun choices would've been a "Mossberg 590M"
2)Pistols: Dump the glock17 & replace it with GLOCK-21sf (.45cal) dump the 93R, cuz you already have a machine pistol, the glock18
3)Sniper Rifles: One of my .50 cal rifles of choice would've been is "AS50" semi-auto and for the bolt-action t...
Cell2, huh? ...........Hmmm, I have mixed feelings about this.
Yes, the cell processor is super powerful and mega unique, because how many CPU's out there that are designed to be used to ASSIST the graphics calculations for the GPU processor? Far's I know, ONLY the CELL could do that.
But the CEll's greatest strength also proved in this gen to be it's greatest weakness. Alot of game dev's mostly 3rd party dev's still having difficulty ...
All I gotta say to this BF3: Jet play game footage is "WOOAAHHH!!" The game play actually looks cooler than the new ACE COMBAT: Assault Horizon jet combat game play. I hope to look at this again in HD. Plus see some more close air to ground combat footage.
In a short answer, No, this does not mean that console graphics are poor. This only means that devs are laying out new a foundation to use "Graphic enhancer" software to compensate for the lack of graphical features seen in multiplat games first designed than ported off the pc.
I think this is great for this generation going onto the next, but because consoles are fixed platforms, HDD/SDD is going to be foremost the important features needed in gaming platforms from...

Am I to understand that id software's tech guy J. carmack stated in an interview that the ps3 version of rage will be running all of the PC's textures graphics intact because of the "texture pack" tech they'll put in the ps3 version because of the bluray space & all the cell cores would be used with texture streaming with 8gb install, and the end result of all that is that it matches the visual quality of the x360? Ah, Yessssssssss................ COLONY WARS for the psOne. This old gem was a PS1 GEM of all gems. I know the sound is off bass because I'm hearing from a video. But I've played BF:BC1 & 2 and I wasn't really feeling the weapons sound affects either from those except 2, the RPK & m24 sniper. I guess I'm just spoiled by the R6: vegas 1&2 and the Arma2 for the pc. Watch these vids from youtube and listen to why I prefer the weapons sounds of ARMA 2.

What the Hell's UP with EA Digital Illusion CE, The weapons in this great shooter sound SO CRAPPY when compared to latest MOH. Even COD: MW1/2 & 3 don't sound all too accurate to real world weapons. I mean hell, The weapons in the socom series for the ps2 seem a little better than what I'm hear on these videos. I mean' what gives?
DAMN, No plans for "Crysis: Warhead" for the consoles? I feel that we're being short changed. I watched the walkthrough on youtube and it was pretty damn cool.
