Me personally, I believe the PSPgo was used as a "test dummy" on the decision sony made on whether or not the next gen psp, (*ala NGP) would use a disc, or be fully digi dload. Well now we know how that turned out. So who needs the pspGo now? So I guess you can now, GO, pspGO.

Pitty on the peeps who invested on it though......

Short answer, Crytek's CRYEGINE 4, which would likely be a SUPER INHENCE version of the tweaked and improved coded version of Cryengine 2 used on Crysis: Warhead. Can't wait to see how it performs.

id software has come along way, and good for them, But sorry id software & John Carmack, You still have ways to go to reach the power of Crysis & Crysis: Warhead graphics Ip, off the CRYENGINE 2, which in fact about 4 years old now. Not even the Cryengine 3 can't match the tech, it's been dumbed down so it could run on the x360/ps3.

Crytek's Cryengine 2's still the greatest PCGaming graphics IP ever.

Doesn,t suprise me at all. So Sony, when are you gonna announce the SOCOM HD series off the ps2 and make'em online ready.

SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs
SOCOM II: U.S. Navy SEALs
SOCOM 3: U.S. Navy SEALs
SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs Combined Assault

All on one blu-ray disc for $49.99, It's gonna happen, just ya'll wait.

No hands from me. The Crytek team's Crytek engine used for Crysis 1 & Crysis: Warhead is at least 5 years old, and STILL stresses the strongest gaming pc hardware to this day. And the crytek engine used for the 1st Crysis & Warhead STILL set the ultimate benchmark where ALL pc graphics engines IP's STILL to this day aspires too match. So if it's Crytek's opinion that the next gen consoles should support AT LEAST 8GB of system RAM. Then I'll will wholeheartedly supp...

I would like sony/microsft to send out their hardware designers to the BEST PCGaming performing designers found anywhere(*1 example "ALIENWARE") and ask them what type of hardware would they recommend to run pc's CRYSIS 1 & Warhead with ALL it's settings MAXXED while getting at least 60fps, running on 1080p or higher res HDTV. And used that hardware design spec benchmark as a blueprint to how to develop the HARDWARE capabilities of the ps4/Nexbox for the console's MI...

"I'm afraid we have nothing the announce at this time"

Well at least they didn't flat out and say "NO" nor did they say "YES". So this means a definite MAYBE.

Looks like they're gonna pullout ALL the stops on this game. Fox news, and the rest of those conservative A**holes gonna have a field day with this title. Good, just the game more publicity.

Read it. And thought, I agree about the next gen consoles using SDD, But having a built in flash drive and being allowed to connect a ext HDD via usb port? Makes me say Hmmm.......I'm not too sure about ps3 re-using the CELL, cuz they've stated in a number of articles that they're seriously considering going MULITCORE to appease 3rd party devs.

I HOPE your right about next gen consoles having at LEAST 6-8GB of total system RAM. Sony seams to haven't learne...

The power and tech capability of the nextgen consoles should be designed around running CRYSIS 1 with ALL it's setting maxed at 60-90 fps.

Interesting, I want to read more. Want to see chapter 2.

This is a bogus concept article. There's NO WAY microsoft's gonna abandon or push aside it's BASE(*Hard core, shooters & multiplayer) community to appeal to casual *by the minute, type so called gamers. They will *On the other hand TRY to do a better job at creating better titles that could benefit the core audiences with kinect more like the Move for the ps3.

Oh, WOW! It's clear they went BACK towards what made MC great in the 1st place and just modernized the graphics, good going MC designers. I hope your game REALLY succeeds, Though I'm not a MC fan. I'd probably just buy it, as a collectors piece. LUV THA" BONE BREAKING strikes and new and hilarious fatalities.

Graphics reboot, of coarse. Run in 720p/1080p on a 16.9 lcd/led HDTV? certainly!

But I'm a fan of the HALO novels, and baby, They're great. The ODST's were very involved in HALO "The Flood" book 2, which is actually "HALO:CE" the xbox game. And they along with UNSC had their own campaigns against the covenant/flood and I think they should implement some levels(*as well as cut scenes)from out of the book in the remake, such as the "assa...

This is not really a big deal, But I was disappointed that they removed the intro of the game. Why did they have to go and do that for? It makes the game seem alittle short changed if you ask me.

5527d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

Far as I know they're just upgrading the game into HD, so it could be played on full screen. It's not like we're gonna see H:CE completely redrawn from the ground up to run on let's say the HALO 2/3 engine. So in a short answer, NO. It could wait.

But if, they ARE redoing it from the ground up on an updated halo engine, Then that a different picture. I'll support the remake if ONLY they follow the EXACT storyline from the 2nd halo novel "The Flood&quo...

You might be on to something there, awiseman. About the ARM CPU. Sony is on record stating more than a few times they're moving away of the cell to go for a more mainstream type of cpu to appease 1st & 3rd party developers. I still think sony's will use IBM's POWER7, personally, but ARM's a fast rising star and sony's partnered with them. And if you go to the ARM web site's PDF page, they said not only they make high performance/low powered cpu's for handhelds ...

I knew about this controller since the middle of last year, and this is their 1st review?, what taking them so long? I want to see an IGN, GAMESPOT, GAMEPRO & GAMESPY review. Though I already BEEN sold on it since last year, I just wanna see what the main gamers sites have to say about the controller.
