Tommie - EA are actually developing the game for the PS3. Valve outsourced it to EA so they could concerntrate on the 360 and PC version.
This does not surprise my in the slightest one bit. EA are just pathetic. I mean, how delayed is the Medal of Honour game that they are meant to be bringing out for the PS3. That is going to be a massive flop - no one is even talking about that considering Cod4, Haze and UT3 are coming out.
There is no doubt that having MS in the gaming market is terrible for everyone. What is so special about a console gaming market when every single game is also out on the PC. Is MS wins the console war you can kiss goodbye to console gaming history.

My new 40 gig PS3 actually broke on me and now wont read any form of disk.
I do think that it was PES2008 fault though as the game froze on me and restarted the PS3, since then it wasn't able to read a disk.
Isn't the 360 coming into its 3rd year?
Technology wise, nothing even comes close to a PS3 and that is a fact.

Now, the graphics difference between the two more noticeable than the graphics difference between CoD4? Remember people, this game has had more than 6 months extra time to gloss up. CoD4 looks better on the PS3 and they had the same Dev time.
It is because it is only dev'd for the PS3. No interference or port from 360 involved.
See for some reason I dont see Sony dropping their prices, at least until next Christmas.
I dont think it makes sense to drop the price around the time that their system sellers hit town, because, at the end of the day Sony will see these games (MGS4, KZ2, LBP, FFXIII etc) as system sellers, regardless of whether a price drop is in place.
I'd never ever buy and EA game. Pure corporate greed right there.

My only concern now over this whole RaC issue is how they review other PS3 games. Will they add a couple of points to try and make up for what they have done?!? It bit like how a football referee tries to give the other side the benefit after he realises that a decision he just made for the one team was wrong.

Exactly. Mark Rein said that it was possible that it might get delayed, so had to come out and say that for the share-holders sake.
There is a possibility that gets released before X-mas. I just wish Epic would keep us updated.

I will never ever buy an EA game again. I held this opinion for over 5 years now. They absolutely do not care about quality, as their release prove.
If you notice, the best developers are like 'we ship the game when its ready.' Yes they are in the business to make money, but take this for example, if Factor 5 had released Lair as a very good game (and spent time on fixing the controls), the reviews would have been awesome. They didn't and look what happens. The same will happe...
