MS raised the price but added things like GWG, EA access, play anywhere, backwards compatibility, dedicated servers, unlimited cloud storage.
Sony raised the price the same week they removed digital optical from their base units going forward and continue to disappoint with lacklustre PS+ freebies and non competitive pricing in foreign markets making them more expensive than Xbox.
Guess which one's doing it right? Here's a hint: unlimited > 10g...
XB1S has a digital optical port for 5.1 surround. PS4S may or may not have one, but if it does I can't see it. This troubles me, need confirmation from the picture leaker.
Umm, where the heck is the digital optical port?! I'm looking but dont see it, but that's crazy talk, so maybe someone else with 20/20 can reassure me on this potential surround sound debacle. Does the Xbox1 S have one??
EDIT: digital trends & pcmag say the XB1 slim does indeed have spdif aka digital optical so this would absolutely be a surround sound surrender on the ps4 slim side. Again I'm hoping the leaked pics are just misleading or hiding the port
Yes you should absolutely finish the campaign if you're reviewing it! Games evolve and devolve and should be judged accordingly. The last quarter of Indigo Prophecy for example changed my impression of the game completely. MGS4, how could you review that before getting to Shadow Moses or seeing Big Boss bury the hatchet? You can't pull out before the best parts then tell me what's up
8 bit era had some of the most memorable music. Catchy as sin, you could hum everything.

Ya wouldn't know it though, the way a particular handful have been stalking this game, or more specifically the lesser reviews as if to say "told ya so". It's so transparent.

They should just do away with the whole abstergo subplot, nix the animus gimmicks and just do good period piece self contained stories. It worked in Assassins Creed Rogue and Liberation.

So let me get this straight. Sony releases a new console exclusive this week and to you that equals lost and complacent. MS releases absolutely nothing software wise for months, but is "kicking butt" because of NPD for the first time in a year? Do you know how ridiculous that sounds?

Naw. I was replying to a guy and merely gave examples of how said business maybe reached some wrong conclusions in the past. I'm not stuck in the past lol, I've simply been around long enough to remember that businesses haven't always been perfect. It's okay to question.
