You should take a look at http://www.nma-fallout.com/... there are some games there that are being developed with fallout theme. Don't know if that was what your friend was talking about though but I believe at least one of them was being developed in Poland if I'm not mistaken.
What... is... this...?...???
Senior caps and loafer? If this is supreme fashion I'd rather be inferior. And does that t-shirt say what I think it's saying!?
Never heard of Sessler until about a couple of weeks ago. So I flipped through some of his Soapbox clips and found him very entertaining.
Yeah sure he's a little flimsy but he does bring up some good points in several of his episodes. Granted he don't always make an effort to come up with a solution but he can actually make an argument that, at least made me, reflect on somethings that no one ever bothers to talk about.
BTW he can't be a pedophile. He's not wearing the bear...
Hehe at least it made me laugh.
But Air Man? How about Quick Man? Now that was a tricky level.
Don't know how it looks from the Sony concerns view but from mine:
- I know I won't buy a ps3 until it drops in price. May so be that it's a bargain looking at the hardware but I never asked for that. All I asked about was a new gamepad and what they served was a revamped dualshock. And I'm gonna b*tch and moan about it 'till they make a new one =P
But seriously, even though it's value for your money the offer as it is now doesn't tempt me. Cut me a new price and I m...
Games harder to play? Appeal to the casual gamer even more?
I remember when you had to frickin wobble your joystick (yes we played computer games with sticks back then) 'till you had a cramping hand with blistered fingers.
I remember when simulators came with manuals bigger than todays soulless crime adventures harlequin books.
I remember when a game over was a game over.
That was it, no dice, just start from scratch again. Now those were ha...
I'm not denying Fallout 3 as a capable game. I've played both morrowind and oblivion and regard them as good games. However, and I'm not talking isometric views or the ten year leap in technology.
What made the Fallout series was the atmosphere, and more important, the way it was portrayed. This does not exist on the third installment. In fact I'm afraid of travel to populated places in the game just for the fear that some of those lifeless drones will come up to me and say they ...
"It was pretty amusing hearing die-hard Fallout fans whine that Fallout 3 was too much like another award-winning RPG. You don't know how good you've got it, guys."
The Star Wars franchise, although admittedly generally weak, still got some good games. Sonic may be a sad story of misshandling a license but you can only do so much with the concept of a 2d scrolling game. I'm not even going into the rampage series. I can understand x-com series (even though it got some de...
Well sob sob boohoo , the worlds smallest violin is playing for you. Sorry mate but you gain no sympathy. No dineros no amore. Now pay the price for your failure.
In my opinion there's only two living legends within the game industry, Wright and Molyneux. The two of them seem to share a rare, almost extinct view of gaming and it's genuine love of the media. May so be they don't develop the biggest blockbusters but counting between them, the milestones they've set in the business and they're unrivaled.
When I think of passion for gaming these are the guys that pretty much personifies that for me. Mention Maxis or Bullfrog in my presence and...
For the moment a price cut would be the only thing that would justify a buying ps3 for me. I could probably be swayed to pay full price but not until their game library have grown more solid. I just can't bring myself to spend that kind of money only to buy littlebigplanet. On the other hand, I see tempting games in the horizon. Maybe, if I'm persistent, I can have it both ways =)

In the end it's all just fun and games.
Mindless action but fun mindless action. I'm not a big fan of corridor shooters but GoW was a wonderful co-op experience.
edit: And at least we didn't have to put up with Cortanas ego trips. Hey lady I don't know you and I don't care. Now let go of my screen!
We grew up and the business grew stale.
When something is new and can't be defined by a norm that's were creativity is born.
edit: Actually I don't think the game industry is in such a big mess, even if it looks bleak sometimes, rather the gaming journalism. I don't think it has developed on pare (spelling?) with the industry.
Truth is that the silent hill series only common factor was Akira Yamaoka. Team silent consisted of workers who at the time wasn't involved in other projects, hence alot of people were moving in and out for each game released.
I was skeptic when I heard of the development in the west but we're talking about a game I've played through dozens of times, getting scared to madness and beyond. No game series have moved me as silent hill. Clunky controls, is a bad trademark I admit, but I coul...
Well it stands to reason that no murders are committed over money. Now killing someone over a game console... No wait, it's the other way around isn't it?
And my condolences to the victims family. It's a bizarre tragedy whatever the perpetrators reasons were.
Sorry, no cigar for you, you weren't even close.
If you want to do it right then you don't buy it and you don't play it, simple as that. With piracy they have an excuse for poor sales, without it, none. It's the sweet and sour but that's how it taste.
Well it's more of a general post apocalyptic theme rather than a spiritual successor and I don't think they can copyright the apocalypse at least.
