This was brilliant. Kudos to the makers.
It's weird, right? There's no top 5 list, no passive-aggresive flamebait disguised as a question, not even a solution to a non-issue made by someone who has no clue about programming at all, in this article. Further more, there's no copy-pasted hypetrain or fanboy hate speech to be found anywhere in the text. This is not game journalism at all! We need to feed the trolls!
Finally, a real sequel. Stalker is awesome.
Such a lack luster article for such an awesome game. I'm really looking forward to this sequel and the new iteration of the X-Ray engine. I just hope they make it a bit scarier than Pripyat (Stalker being one of the few games that can still instill horror even though you're lugging around automatic weapons).
Now this is a true gem for those with interest in grand strategy and that have the patience.
That Adelstein seems to be one tough bloke.
@LeShin
Yes, God yes but they just won't stop coming.
N4G please ban the following words:

No Mileena? Qué?
The platform is just the choice of instrument to play the tune.
Game > Platform
If true, this rubs my tail the wrong way.
Big maps, lots of players and keep the troop carrier helicopter and I will be a happy troll. I prefer to carry troops to the battle zones rather than playing an infantry grunt in BF, go figure.
Oh come on! No Max Payne?
- He had a baseball bat, and I was tied to a chair. Pissing him off was the smart thing to do.
Quasi intellectual quotes are a dime a dozen in video games. At least Max Payne did it with style.
Amen to that. I thought Quan Chi looked poofy, in comparison, I see now that I was sorely misstaken.
I however, did not like Sub Zero unmasked. Now Scorpion, on the other hand, was quite a dashing fellow beneath his mask.
Since around 1897 in Arkansas it seems, according to:

It also appears to be a village in Germany by that name.
So I guess we can rest easy, The Great Kingdom of United Britain has not been improperly represented. ^^
Yes, not knowing that there would be a super street fighter made me chuckle. There's a lot more where that came from.
And Capcom making Sonic, really? I feel like a senile old fart for remembering these things that's not even a decade old.
I'll settle for both.
Stalker 2, subtitled Yakuza Kenzan, Sim City 5 and Dead Island (brought back from whatever stage of decomposition) for the love of gaming!
EDIT: A reboot for the Suikoden series would also be welcome.
While I think that they would be capable to pull it off without Yamaoka, ditching the musical theme from previous games doesn't seem like the smart move to make. But ok, I'm willing to give this the benefit of a doubt. Just put your money where your mouth is Vatra.
Time to dust off the xbox it seems.
I mostly play wrpgs but I must say, I really miss Suikoden :(
About the protagonists gender - I swing both ways.
EDIT: Never really try to replicate myself though. I love myself, nearly to a narcissistic point, but I play games to act like someone else for a change.
F3 is built upon a horrible engine but apart from that Obsidians Fallout Reboot will trump Bethesdas. Obsidians strengths are stories and characters, coincidentally those are Bethesdas weaknesses.
I will probably pick this one up after some price reductions but I'm still mourning what Fallout has turned into (and that's mainly because of that damn Gamebryo engine).
