It's not that serious dude. C'mon, have a sense of humor lol
I agree.. The title of the wccftech article is misleading. You are right and I'm even going to do you the favor of explaining why you are right because this seems to be going over a lot of peoples heads.
"Fable Legends will use DirectX 12 (DX12) and we wondered why. Whyte said that by using DX12, the team was able to achieve “a significant amount of horsepower – resulting in increased visual fidelity, higher frame rates, and improved shadows and effects.” Whyte furth...
Well I can't wait man. Hopefully they show off DX12 at that Xbox/Windows event in March. Honestly, DX12 can't come soon enough.. lol
I really can't wait until this thing releases so we can stop getting these hype articles. We've been hearing about DX12 on the Xbox One since 2014 and people have been going back and fourth about this since then and we still haven't seen a thing. Just show us the sh*t already so that these tiring debates can end and we can stop getting these hype articles.
And before anyone tries arguing with me about the benefits of DX12 on the Xbox One (because I know some of y...
I agree. I'd prefer cartridges over discs if this is the benefit that they will bring especially when you have the head penises at development studios like Treyarch and Activsion forcing people to store gigs upon gigs of DLC on their hard drives in updates and patches whether those people brought the DLC or not thus taking up even more space as if the base games don't take up enough space already..
In other words, Nintendo had partial stake in Rare? Very interesting. Still don't understand why Nintendo sold off their shares of Rare though..
I'm aware of that. I didn't say Rare started exclusively on Nintendo systems or that Rares very first games started on the N64 or Nintendo systems. I said that certain games (which I mentioned and listed) like GoldenEye 007, Perfect Dark, Diddy Kong Racing, Banjo-Kazooie, etc, that were made by Rare started on Nintendo systems like the N64.
With games like GoldenEye 007, Perfect Dark, Diddy Kong Racing, Banjo-Kazooie, etc which were made by Rare and started on the Nintendo systems like the N64; it's no secret that rare was at their peak and in their prime when they were working with Nintendo. I still don't understand why Nintendo didn't buy Rare and turn them into a first party studio. That really perplexes me and makes me scratch my head very, very hard in confusion..
@FlipSwitch
I agree.. If both consoles are pushing the same resolution and framerate I would expect the PS4 version to at least have a slight advantage in one area or other areas like better textures, shadows, more foliage, better reflections, tessellation and/or particle affects. I'm not saying the PS4's GPU is a world beater but the PS4's GPU is more powerful than the Xbox One's GPU and it does have a decent power advantage over the Xbox One's GPU so I d...
@ginsunuva
I never said all PC gamers do this though.. I was only talking about a specific group of PC gamers. The ones that I was talking about are the elitist jackasses that claim they are part of some "master race". I thought it was pretty obvious that my comment didn't pertain to all PC gamers. In my original comment, I even highlighted the term "PC master race" in quotation marks to point out the specific group of people I was referring to becaus...
Microsoft's numbers are always hidden numbers. I am curious to know what actual sales numbers are.
See what I did there? :]
Ice is cold and water is wet. Of course the PC version looks better and is going to look better especially when it's at max settings like Ultra. I'm just stating the obvious. However, the PS4 version holds it's own pretty damn well.
I'm not understanding you guys's arguments.. Are you guys saying that PC gamers don't call consoles gamers peasents and welfare gamers? I'm not putting words in anyone's mouth if what I'm saying is true. PC gamers do in fact call console gamers peasants and welfare gamers.
@Corpser
"Nobody is calling you peasants, stop doing it to yourself"
I shouldn't even be linking you to this comment but someone actua...
The "PC master race" loves calling console gamers peasants and welfare gamers yet they're the ones pirating games, waiting for Steam sales and begging for console exclusives.
This is the perfect example of people throwing stones at others while living in glass houses.
You should probably go in with low expectations this time around. I really hope Nintendo knocks it out the park with the NX but I'm keeping my expectations low. I don't want to get super excited for the NX only to be let down again..
Not only that but the Xbox One and PS4 both have an insane exclusive line up this year and both consoles will be hitting their stride this year in terms of exclusives. Also, most console gamers and their friends are either gaming on PSN or XBL so it's going to be a challenge for Nintendo to take mindshare away from Sony and Microsoft and convince people to game on their network. If the Nintendo NX launches this year not only will the NX have to contend with both consoles huge install bas...
@dreadz74
"ps4 avg 170 - 300k on a good month."
Hmm, PS4 has been out for 2 years and 2 months. 2 years and 2 months is 26 months in total so let's do the math and I'm even going to try to help your argument by multiplying 26 months by 300k which is the highest figure you claim the PS4 sells on average every month..
300,000 x 26 = 7,800,000
By your estimation the PS4's total sales would be somewhere clos...
You weren't being sarcastic. You were serious and either didn't realize that this was a standard procedure for devs or forgot that it was a standard procedure for devs. Just face it, you got caught with your pants down lol
I 100% agree. Sony is already in a very sweet spot when it comes to first party studios but it doesn't hurt to add more especially when it's Kojima.. Sony is sitting on a gold mine right now and they should definitely try to acquire Kojima's studio and get him on board. You know how huge it would be for Sony if they acquired Kojima's studio? Hell, Sony's partnership video with Kojima which now has over a million views and over 45,000 likes tells you how huge it would be.. ...
Agreed.. Comparing console versions of games to the PC versions is like beating the rotting decaying body of a horse that's already dead. We already know the outcome.. I really don't see the point.
