See? This is the bullsh*t im talking about.
How long did heavenly sword take to develop compared to heavy rain?
Is David Cage whinging that "1.5 million copies wont make us any money!" ????
No. So. Ninja Theory. Go exclusive to the 360. Please. Take your whinging, negative rhetoric and stick in a place where the userbase appreciates that infantile sh*t.
Really?
Apart from the 2005 E3 trailer (and people will argue that the game even rivals that), KZ2 looked bang-on the trailers, if not better.
UC2 - When the first screens and videos were released alot of people claimed that it wasn't in game. Then release day hit and I'll admit I sat there thinking "Holy crap... its real"
When the first GOWIII pics and videos were released, it was the same thing. Except the graphics marginally improved ...
what kind of sodding moron hasnt finished it yet???
:P
New rule. Claim supperiority AFTER games release...
Im as against gung ho soldiers as the next person, and dont think any of our countries should be in iraq.
That said if you look at 3:40-3:50 you can clearly see what looks to be an RPG and an ak47.
While i sympathise with the journalists families, they were in a warzone surrounded by men with weapons. It is completely understandable that the pilots assumed the items they were carrying were weapons as well. Does this justify their enjoyment in killing people? Doe...
best sandbox ive ever played. Sequal please. Good cole should continue the story.
unfortunately
Anyone want to talk about all that "influence" MS had on SC:C now?
Ill stick to the company giving us complete games thanks.
Sony = Vindicated
Im suprised that the hackers are even pursuing this as probably the best part of 100 thousand people are going to care/be able to exploit this.
How exactly do you know it makes it complicated?
Im assuming the programming skills needed to make a ps3 crunch numbers is quite low, plus it allows access to the GPU which would enhance calculation speed. The PS3 os is optimised for the hardware. Linux wasnt.
As an example, take Folding@home. Runs on seperate machines over internet connections. Im sure arranging the same basic program over a lan network wouldnt be that hard for someone who knew what they were do...
Maybe I dont understand the whole "Programming" Thing.... But couldnt these people just get ps3 dev kits and code their number crunching codes into a standard ps3 program?
Assuming Sony doesnt actually offer support to these large companies in the way of a software loader that allows certain people to bypass the consumer OS we all get.
wow....
You're delusional....
The important question this raises is "WHY THE F*** AREN'T WE PLAYING IT YET?"
"Wada is no longer with the company"
>fans rejoice<
May.....
cool....
Its funny that people on here and devs like this try saying it isnt possible to have good 3D graphics on the ps3, yet other media outlets that have played the actual 3D offerings from Sony seem blown away. If their 3D games have to look as bad as Wip3out HD, im all in.
Hell, Sony seemed to shrug at the prospect of making KZ2 3D, kinda saying "yeah we can do that. we just patch it in".
Have a feeling they understand the tech better than N4G...
I said the same thing in the relating article but I will say it again here, I have never heard of a dev complaining that they only sold 1.5 million copies. I still think Ninja theory's lack of profit was more to do with bad management and poor fiscal decisions.
1.5 million x say an average of 40 dollars per game sold is what, 60 million? From what I've heard, retail cut on new games is next to nothing (hence used games retailers focus on the used market so much)so say maybe 55 ...
Im starting to get the feeling that there was some Acti-Infinity style problems between Sony and Ninja Theory, although in this case it seems to be the studio trying to stir up sh!t, not the publisher.
Uncharted 2 on Xbox360 Would've:
- Crashed
- Used UE3
- Run at 680p
- Stopped 3 chapters short, with the end of the game to be released as premium DLC.
- scored higher on Meta.
- "killed the ps3"
- needed a HDD to get "ALL the guns"
- Shipped on 14 discs
- been impossible as they lack talented 1st Party Devs.
- been called Uncharted: Ode de' Sicilian Tale. It would have used all the same asses...
