Sounds to me like bad port.
Heck ya it was a good move. It makes the WiiU gamepad the go to controller whenever the tv is in use, be it watching TV,Netflix,or playing a game. With TVii added on it makes the WiiU the ultimate home entertainment system.. It's a shame they didn't add the ability to play DVD movies on the Wii U as well. But I guess that would have made the price too high.

I forsee nut shots on the guy playing/concentrating on the gamepad in Metroid blast in the very near future. Nintendo will end friendships and explode testicles very soon just you wait and see.
Hmmm halo 4 got an 8? Warfighter a 3? Most of these scores seem to all be missing a well deserved point. Bump all the reviews up one point and you have a more believable scoreboard. Hotline Miami deserves a 10 play it
This article is dead on. But I love me some Mario, DK, Metroid, Zelda, Kirby, SSB, and a lot of other Nintendo exclusives that are making the jump to HD. That alone gets me hyped and others like me hyped. And there are more than enough people like me out there.

Second screen should strictly be used for multiplayer. When one person is playing they cAn use the gamepad. Two player, one has tv the other has gamepad. Also if playing multiplayer online the gamepad will show your teammate's screen or point of view while you play on tv.. While playing online use stylus or finger to point out things to teammate or draw them a path.
This guy didn't play it. In the article he says to stay away from the new super Mario game and that "Arkham Asylum and Mass effect" are better.
