Lol! Yes! It becomes more realistic. Humble pure beginings with whatever pokemon pops onto the screen first. Whether it be a magikarp, zubat, or shiny Onix.
I've always wanted a pokemon game where instead of picking your starter pokemon, you instead just start off alone with a master ball and a choice of multiple paths toward a lake (for water types) cave (for grounds and rock types) a haunted house for (ghost types) and so on... Then the first pokemon you meet is your starter. How cool would that be?

That first party marketing may be for E3. So yeah I guess you could say that particular piece of marketing was leaked early.
I named characters because characters talk (usually) and its faster than naming all the games which, in some cases, don't have official titles yet. I mentioned Watch Dogs because its multi platform and is also saying "hi" with the characters I listed. My list is WiiU centric as opposed to the PS4 centric in Foxhound's comment. Need for Speed Most Wanted on the Wii U (even though it was a commercial failure) IS a great port. I own it and I can tell you it is not sub standard. It includes the Speed pack and additional content not included unless through DLC on other platforms. So your comment blows and is boardering on the trollish
Pokemon Snap 2 U
I own a Wii U.. I have three games. Nintendo Land, NSMBWU, and Need for Speed (suprising great EA port!). But the wait for Mario Kart, Zelda, Mario, and Super Smash Bros. is dust getting hard. I dont think sales will go up too much untill those games get released.
