Yay. I would get to play a bunch of 3-5 year old games on a brand new console? I already have a PS3 and 360.
Also, when the PSN comes back up, people are going to buy everything they have missed, so there will be a big spending spree as soon as it gets back up. It's not like all those things have disappeared.
@TheGames - we aren't knocking him because he doesn't like Saint's Row, it's his inability to try something he deems as a "clone". We aren't talking about Fortresscraft here. Using a basic idea and expounding and making things better doesn't make it a "clone".

You're a moron if you pass because it's a "GTA clone." If you pass on games that are clones, you must still be playing NES games because almost every game since then is a clone. Geez.

@TwistyTrev - If by "GTA4 is nothing like the older ones" means not as good, you're right. If anything, GTA4 LOST things from the other ones. Other than that, name one thing different it did. Oh wait, a few missions where you could pick sides.
Wow, have you actually PLAYED Saint's Row? Do yourself a favor. Go grab a copy of Saint's Row 2. Play through it. Now try to play GTA4.
Other than being a sandbox gangster game, they have a LOT of their own ideas. Not only that, but SR2 knows it's a game and pokes fun at itself a lot. I had a LOT more fun with SR2 than GTA4.

Here's my 2 cents: If you want it, get it for whatever system you have. If you have both, get it for whatever system all your friends are playing it on. If you don't care about MP, are you an achievement whore or a trophy whore.

Ugh, why is everyone so boo-hoo for Starcraft Ghost? I used to be a manager for Gamestop, and one year at our Manager Conference, they had a demo of it for us to play (it hadn't been canned yet.) It wasn't good..at all. There is a reason Blizzard canned it. Remember, it wasn't being made BY Blizzard at all, they pretty much outsourced it. I am gonna wait for a 3DS. If you look at the past history of Nintendo handhelds, the first iteration ALWAYS has a serious issue that they then rectify.

And the new one is always out in a year or two and is well worth the wait. So following Nintendo's formula, 3DS --> 3DS+.
Ditto on the Splinter Cell thoughts. My only complaint is that I just don't see the point in releasing a 5 second "teaser" a year before the game comes out. It showed absolutely nothing and truly served no purpose. "OOH, CG Batman beat up some CG Splinter Cell wannabes!" Why can't companies hold their was until they have something substantial to show?

I guess I should have finished my statement of regardless of reviews or negative comments. Most analysts predicted not as popular as MW2, and the reviews weren't as glowing either. I am not saying that all good games sell, but in a holiday season where hardly ANY games are coming out, it' good to see the games industry isn't in a slump.
