Whaaa? I can't wait for Saint's Row, but I am not sure I could wait 2 months for Batman:AC! Good luck! Maybe I'll see ya in Steelport though!
Guess that reviewer who already gave it a perfect score is now completely justified. He took a lot of crap for giving it a perfect score, I hope he laughs in everyone's face now.
It still has a single player campaign with the time limit and everything. The sandbox mode is new to the series. It lets you just run around and do everything that people have been complaining about for the last two games: run around and do whatever they want with no time limits. You get the best of both worlds :) And any leveling you do in one carries over to the other: bonus!
I don't quite get what you are getting at here. They are giving people two different ways to play the game, and tying them together. They didn't give people a "big achievement" for finishing hardcore mode in FO:NV - they give them ONE achievement.
I loved DR2, and I was iffy on this until this article. Now I can't wait for the sandbox mode to play with my friend.
I will quit playing games if OnLive is the future. I want to own a PHYSICAL copy of my games. I collect the great games I have played. TO me, a great game is like a great book: you can pick it up at any time and play through it and enjoy it all over again.
The main reason they are trying to shove Cloud gaming down our throat is it eliminates a LOT of cost to the publisher so they can make more dough. No thanks.
One of the most beautiful games I have ever seen. I plan on importing AND buying the NA version.
Hm. Runs just great on my console.
Not sure why everyone thought October 5th was supposed to be some big "reveal". Sony never stated it was, they just put out a minute long teaser trailer. It was all the websites that overhyped the trailer. It's not like the teaser showed us something we hadn't seen before as far as games go.
Otherwise, I thoroughly enjoyed it. I think it is a great fan service to us gamers.
Wow, you know what's weird? I can find that item by following your link, but you cant find it just by searching for it...
It's a Japanese site. just average 100 yen = $1
regular editions = 4482 yen (roughly $45)
premium editions = 9980 yen (roughly $100)
style premium editions = 14980 yen (roughly $150)
Yeah, I don't see Microsoft loosening its grip on its online service enough to allow Valve to squeeze in. Microsoft gains nothing, while Valve wins new customers.
Ah yes, Portal. I guess I wasn't really thinking about it, it feels like so long since the first one came out but it's only been 4 years! Good call!
New IP? I guess Gears of War, Uncharted, Infamous, Bioshock, Red Dead Redemption (I know Red Dead Revolver was last gen, but come on, other than the words Red Dead, they have nothing in common), Mass Effect, Dragon Age, Dead Rising, Left 4 Dead, Borderlands, Saints Row, Resistance, Motorstorm, LittleBigPlanet, Heavy Rain, LA Noire, not to mention all the amazing downloadable games like Limbo, Bastion, Trine, etc have all really struggled...
Edit: Oops, forgot Dead Space!
I've been torn about this as well, and I just don't see it being worth $150 with all the other games coming out within a week of it. For the price of this, I could buy Skyrim, Uncharted 3, and Saints Row 3.
Or I could have Skyrim and a statue.
Not a very hard choice when I look at it like that...
It's given to anyone who preorders the game, CE or not.
Actually, the 3DS has only been the top selling handheld for about 3 or 4 weeks. Before that, the PSP was blowing it out of the water.
Lol at Master Peace.
You can't say the PC version runs at 1080p + 60fps because not everyone's PC will do that.
It's like saying all cars go from 0-60 in 3.4 seconds.
How about people quit telling me I should/shouldn't care about Trophies/Achievements? Last I checked, I play games for my own personal enjoyment. If I like them, so be it. If I don't, so be it. Just quit trying to get people to pick sides.
*Faints* Please tell me they are serious.
