I totally agree Syko. Like you said, it's all preference. I get my multiplats on my PS3 because I prefer the controller. I just have never gotten used to the 360 controller. When buttons pop up to press, I always have to look down at my controller lol. I also just hate the blades GUI.And like you, I haven't played with my Wii since Mario Galaxy. WOW, you got a disagree?? WTF. I guess being unbiased has its repurcussions.
Huh huh, I said "played with my Wii".
Let's face it: GTAIV had a LOT of hype but the aftershock of the game itself was pretty weak. It seemed the media and gamers got tired of it pretty quickly because graphics aside, it seemed to take a giant step backwards in the gameplay department.
The PS3 GTAIV bundle sold out amazingly fast where it was sold in Europe. If they had made one for America, i think you might have seen the same sellout as the MGS4 bundle is having.
Once a person who has been wanting ...
Weak catalogue of games...that's a good one. Last I checked , nearly all of the XBox360 games barring the MS published ones are on or coming to the PS3. Sony first party games are pretty strong minus one or two (cough Lair). I will give you that some of the ports are, how should I say, less than flattering though.
I seriously doubt that Snake won't move systems. This is one of the most amazing games I have played. Kojima includes so many details and subtle nuances that make the...
Quote of the year:
"In addition, he made demeaning remarks about me to my subordinates and colleagues, causing me significant emotional distress and worsening my personal relationships and work environment."
Priceless.

N4G is getting really bad about duplicate posts. People are just trying to get crap posted instead of actualy checking for dupes. This was posted not 2 hours ago.
I read this story like 2 days ago here at N4G. How are these making it past the filter and getting approved?
from Rockstar was it was delayed because of the multiplayer, not due to performance issues on PS3 or space issues on the 360. Both sides need to quit blaming each other for what is becoming an industry trend with delays.
Crysis might have been on a DVD9, but it has the luxury of being on PC which means the majority of those files were compressed to HELL and then (drum Roll) unzipped during THE MANDATORY INSTALL which is the whole point of this stupid discussion.
Yes DVD9 might be sufficient but would require INSTALLS.
That wasn't a very good list.
Daikatana? Doom 3?
I love the comment that they made that evry FPS that isn't Halo is boring. Halo is a good game, but it isn't the bar that every other FPS should be compared to. I reserve that spot for Half Life 2.
Yah, that is really more of an open zone remark. I don't know how you can watch any video of Killzone and then say it's going to epic fail.
If any level is going to look better, it is going to be one like this because it is on rails and a lot of procedures that would normally use the processor can be used for other resources. Most of the backgrounds do not have to be real-time rendered because you do not have to worry about a player interacting with them, and AI is cut down because most of the things going on are scripted.
I do have to say I am disappointed because they were talking about how the new version of the...
I do have a 360, on my 4th one ftw. 2RRODs, sold my 3rd one to a friend, and rebought a 4th with HDMI output. I have played through every major game on the system, granted some not on the 360 but my PC like Bioshock. I rebought GoW on my PC because they put in the things the 360 couldn't do at the time.
And you are aboslutely right, Bioware is such a shoddy developer, of course they can't make games that run smooth with an engine that they didn't create. What was I thinking?
...
but I am pretty sure that wasn't running on a 360. It is supposed to come out on PC like 3-6 months after 360 if not at the same time, and I am almost willing to bet that's the PC version.
No offense to 360, but when it struggles with the UE3 v1 engine, what makes me think it can do v2 better?
Gears 1 struggled, and Mass Effect struggled badly. Will be nice if it does run that nice though, because that and Fable 2 are the biggest games for my 360 I am waiting on....
these game comparisons. They make me laugh. Before a game is proven to be over another version, one system's fans calim it's the best on their console, blah blah. When the reality hits, all of a sudden it doesn't matter. I really thought this final comparison would have made a MUCH bigger splash considering all the taunting the last few weeks.
Turns out that the once "fake first review" of GTA4 was pretty accurate after all. I think 19 million people owe someone an ap...
Not even Gears. Unreal Tournament 3 runs on the same engine and runs smoother i.e. no framerate drops like every UE3 engine game on 360.
And it looked barely like a PS2 game. Somebody REALLY needs to quit selling those devs crack. Cocaine is a helluva drug!
When will people start realizing this! Ratchet and Clanks cutscenes were in-game, but were not gameplay. The same goes for RFOM's cutscenes. They use in-game assets, and the reason they are not called GAMEPLAY is because they ARE NOT BEING PLAYED.
They boldly stated when they debuted the Motorstorm 2 trailer that it WAS CGI, which means this screenshot is more than likely just a capture from that footage. Did the first Motorstorm get close to its target footage? Pretty dang clo...
think this is totally out of the realm of possibility for in-game graphics? Last I checked, Insomniac has NEVER release bullshots for their games, so why would a sequel they have been working on for 2 years be any different? Heaven help us, the PS3 is actually living up to its potential and showing why not rushing to market was a good thing.
Which one brings new things to the table with every new game?
