Single player ended up being a bit boring, but free roam/multiplayer was a blast. Some of my funniest gaming moments happened in GTA free roam.
The glitch swing was class too.
But then again I can reel off a slew of games I've enjoyed this gen from Nintendo.

Who cares if he was, the Wii U is not about looking "next gen", it's about the way you play the games that make it "next gen"? I would say unique.
I recently made the jump from 360 to PC and at first the wow factor was there, games looked awesome. But at the end of the day I was still playing FC3, it looked a lot better but it didn't make me enjoy it anymore then I would of on ps3/360.

As if next gen consoles are going to be much better, you will still be playing the same old games (with a couple of exceptions.) What's so exciting? Playing Killzone with amzingball graphics?
I recently built a PC, nothing amazing, (GTX670 with an half decent cpu)and at first I was like wow FarCry 3 looks beautiful, but after that wore off it was the same game everyone else was playing on consoles.

ZombiU with the game pad is one of the best gaming experiences I've had in a while, and one of the best survival horror games I've played in years.
The bad thing is, I've hardly used my WiiU since I completed that and Mario. (Mario was only "okay")
If switching from an xbox 360 to a decent PC is anything to go by for next gen I'm not overly excited. Yes, games look a lot better, but at the end of the day it's still the same games...
Like call of duty 20, AC 20, Forza 20, GOW 20, Halo 20 ect ect.. I'm not even a Nintendo fanboy. Lets not forget that Nintendo have been around since the early 80s ;)

I can see why new players to the cod franchise enjoy the game, but people that have been there from the start? I don't get it.
for me COD is like a loaf of bread that you've left out for a couple of months. Stale. If they didn't release one every year things may of been different. At least BF4 has been in development for a couple of years now, and hopefully I will get a couple of years enjoyment out of that one game when it releases.

I would rather a decent Socom game, 4 was turd. Socom was the only reason I got a PS3 in the first place.
You have to admit tho, BF3 on PC/Ultra looks 100x better then what it does on console.
I own all three, PS3, 360 and a PC, I will admit that KZ3 has to be one of the prettiest games I've played to date. (Bare in mind I've not played a massive collection of games on PC) I spend most of my time playing ARMA 2 :P Best of all worlds tbh. I will probably get a PS4 too if I can afford one.
I didn't even it had been released ha. The first Gears was my favorite. Not overly interested in playing another tbh.
I've been a 360 gamer since it was released back in the stone age, but recently I built a PC for gaming (I've always wanted a decent PC to play games on) Yes games do look a lot better, I'm loving ARMA 2 wasteland, also BF3 60fps/ultra it's like playing a completely different game.
I'm still getting a PS4 though if I can afford one, not liking the sound of the nextbox.
Not a fan of the K/M combo though, I think it sucks.

That's the problem with XBL, nobody talks anymore, they're all in their party chat licking each others balls.
It was better without party chat.
It's weird, on consoles the maps seem a little too big (conquest on the bigger maps) but on PC the bigger maps feel too small.
64 players on the smaller maps is just chaos.
I have enjoyed playing BF3 on PC though, the first thing I did coming from playing BF3 on console was experience Metro on 64 players haha.
