Talk about yourself, I would love to play as and with Charlize Theron.
You clearly have no contact with the RE fan community if you think no one cares about how these characters look.
Yes, but then what happens?
Resident Evil has a somewhat realistic approach to it's universe, so this is a glaring flaw. It's not an anime.
That is considered non-canon, just a spin-off.
Different teams.
She feels more human here. She looks and acts like someone that was sheltered her whole life, but was rising to the occasion as best as she could. Unsure if she was serious about taking up some training, but I could see her as a rear officer, such as Rebecca used to be for the S.T.A.R.S.
Please, don't bring back cosplays as news to this site, ffs.
Nah, any type of protagonist can work, just have a good writing team. I have no issues rooting for Joel, Kratos or Link, and they are very different from Leon.
@babadivad Common misconception. It was already stated that RE3 was always supposed to be RE3 and CODE: Veronica a new project, hence why it's so different narratively. A lot of it was outsourced from Capcom. You might be confusing this because RE3 actually used a lot of ideas from scratched spin-offs. But yeah, the follow-up to 2 was always inteded to be the fall and bombing of Raccoon City.
The major concern was never about console market... Did you read the entire thing or only the headlines?
Of course Leon would be the first. Capcom shoves him in anything and adjusts his personality according to what's trending... Jokester, moody, depressed... You name it. I just wish they would give Jill and Claire the same opportunities. They rarely do good by them, and yet they remain popular, that speaks volumes.
Lmao.
It was my only real gripe, will pick it up now. The game looks fun. I only hope it's legit fun, though, not Back 4 Blood fun.
Well, they have to start from somewhere. I feel like they get better with each release and their storylines and ideas are OK for the most part, but man, the gameplay is usually boring as heck...
Basic story is pretty simple, though. The files make it seem a bit convoluted.
@343_Guilty_Spark Wha...? All Bethesda titles are essentially exclusives now. Not Sony's fault if MS does not know how to manage them.
This hurts.
Depends on which RE you are talking about. RE1 is not anime-y at all. Neither is 2. They both are very by-the-book B horror zombie flicks. They even sprinkle things in like Terminator references and Alien. Very westernized. RE Zero, RE6 and Code Veronica things start to get a bit anime-y indeed, despite still having some western references.
RE4 (original) is a cringe-y B action movie from the 80's that just happens to have monsters in it as well. You have the president&...
