@joevfx
Screen tearing is generally only an issue on a PC if you have V-Sync disabled

Port Crysis to it - that'll max it's ass out!
LOL
We paid for a full game that proved pretty near bug free and then got extra content from Valve for free. It's not like they're milking it like the Sims series with it's multitude of expansion packs or charging extra for DLC (Fallout 3 et al and the rip-off that will be Sims 3) or simply not bothering to support a game like Ubisoft do (though I admit they did do those 10 maps for R6V).
... that the episodic Monkey Island is better than the episodic Sam & Max - it's not that the new S&M is bad, but it's just nowhere near as good as the original - fingers crossed for some mighty pirating adventures.
L4D2 is NOT an Xbox exclusive, it's also on the PC - I haven't bothered looking to see if anything else is factually incorrect - shoddy journalism.
What sort of feckin' retard votes to disagree with Buttons' comment of 'It'll blow me away once I actually see it, not when someone tells me it'll blow me away.'? There are some really mentally challenged types on this forum.
Vote 'Disagree' to this if you're a mindless clone, or 'Agree' if you have any common sense whatsoever.
Edit: just seen the first 'Disagree' to this - LOL!
...but if it ain't got that fruit emblazoned on the side then the Mac clones/disciples/zombies/brain washed (you get my drift) won't touch it - if it's not been baptized by the foul sweat from SJ armpits then it don't mean a thing.
And it's not iWhite!
@ KionicWarlord222 - yeah but hell it would look good and it'd be cool to own it. You'd be part of a community of like-minded middle-class gamers who really enjoy their casual gaming and were quite happy to fork out 1.5 times the price of any other console and that will have a limited choice of officially sanctioned peripherals that also look cool, but will naturally have less buttons than the competitions overly-complicated devices (think Wii-mote with just the A button)
And it'll be w...
@ No Way: Where does it say that Peter Jackson would be involved in this film?
It'll be a huge steaming turd
Who could possibly have disagreed with that post? - it was 100% objective and based on fact.
My main machine is a dual boot with XP & Ubuntu (also had DSL & Puppy Linux installed and got LDG on a stick somewhere), my 'test' laptop is solely Ubuntu (part of the hifi - trying to make a media centre for free).
As for actually using Linux, I'd say I don't really use it per se; it doesn't run any decent games (though I've yet to try Quake Live) and aside from the one occasion I got a virus on my Windows install, and used my Ubuntu boot to get in and clean it, personally spe...
They might just as well have compared it against a large steaming turd as it is after all a movie based game and is so going to suck
MS want other devs to sell their name for them and make them jump through hoops to do it in the process. I can't speak for the effect they might have had for consoles but the GFW tag has been a total farce for PC owners - I have a few GFW tagged PC titles that, if anything, are poorer for it.
Great looking Police car models/skins. Looks like a capture the flag kinda mod - it'd be nice if they added some 'Driver'-like missions for single-player though.
Looking forward to the new island expansion DLC.
I've enjoyed SimBin stuff from their early days of GTR mods for EA's F1 series, and to the split/formation of Blimey! Games (or whatever went on there).
Their graphics have always been pretty good, though not as 'pretty' as some of the consoles, and the repeated road textures are mildly off-putting, but it's totally acceptable when you realise just how spot-on their Sims are (just playing with the MoTec software with GTR will waste your life away!).
This looks as good ever but no...
I'd say NFS5 - Porsche Unlimited was the last good one
Well this story may have gained them an extra sale or two from the publicity it's got - I'd never heard of it, but I may now.
I hope there's a demo due - I can't condone the pirating of games but you can understand why some people feel the need - there really must be the option to try before you buy especially for PC material where nobody can get a return on a game that doesn't run (cue the legitimate decrying of PC's vagaries by console owners!). There are many companies now that rele...
And how many of these boycotters actually bought (and not pirated) the first game? Betcha find a good percentage are cheap-asses or just jumping on the bandwagon
