Look at how much you can add to Rainbow Six Vegas (1 & 2)
My daughter and her boyfriend took it back to the shop after 30 minutes of playing it - they weren't impressed at all. I've not played it so I can't make a personal comment.
the repacked (Risen-Demo-PC-EFIGS-V2.zip) version was - I downloaded the other one twice before they repacked/uploaded it!
FYI - I think the EFIGS is the mnemonic for English, French, Italian, German, Spanish
Finally, circular wheels!
I've been well impressed with Ben There Dan That (free) and once I've finished it I'll be buying TGP - best P&C adventure in a long time - the humour is very much in the same vein as the adventure games of old (Sam & Max, Monkey Island, Toonstruck etc).
@hay
you read my mind
Looks good

I'd say it'd be a helluva lot less - my rather full of junk 'n' games PC has a Hkey_current_user reg file (ntuser.dat) of 20MB (yup, it's big but it's not causing any problems)
Marvelous, with the exception of that damn Lenslok! I still have my cassette tape in that very box - some games you just have to keep even if you'll never play them again.
... and I feel the need to bulldoze entire sections of towns; trap a few people in a swimming pool with no ladders so they'll drown; and finally I'm going to throw a ball repeatedly at a wall until all the bricks pop out - damn video games have turned me bad too.
I've just been to the LG site and nowhere in the specs for the W2363V does it say it's 2ms btb either
I modded my STALKER TSOC with the STALKER Complete 2009 mod recently - very nice indeed - highly recommended. (Get it from ModDB)
Oh just please shut up!
More 'artwork'
Next question please
I too was surprised to see the omission of CS (it is still a game even if it is a mod), Quake, and Planescape Torment - I've never played the latter but it gets raved about still. A bit unsure as to why Crysis is on there even though I've played it through more than most games.
I'd like to have seen Far Cry in there despite it's questionable last two levels. And I noticed no driving sims - how about Toca 2, Colin McRae 1, Richard Burns Rally, or even the original Need For Speed?
It looks perfectly simple to me
(even simpler when I consider I won't be upgrading from XP)
Of course they're too devious to be selling them at prices that are multiples of 500 points.
Why do you need a shop for software when demo's can be made available and developers can sell direct circumventing third parties trying to take their slice of the pie? It's like saying the best thing for the customer would be to move CD's/MP3's into a high street shop and sell them there instead - we saw how bad that was for the consumer.
... and spend the money on games.
£115 for Windows 7 Home Premium Full (I'm currently on XP)
and as an example (not necessary the games I'll buy)
Bioshock 2 - £25
Wolfenstein - £24
Section 8 - £23
Resident Evil 5 - £18
L4D2 - £27
(All prices from Amazon.co.uk for new products not 2nd hand)
And how many of these will honestly benefit that much (if at all) from W7?
