This game will sell much more on PS4 regardless if they put up a trailer on their youtube channel for it. Sony doesn't need to advertise this game for PS4, EA needs to advertise it to make sure the 30 million + more people with PS4's know it is on the platform.

Not really, you realize they likely just have one dude that does it for them and doesn't inspect each apect of the thousands of videos they have up. There are plenty more PS4 game footage posted on the Xbox youtube channel all the time. They even have the Monster Hunter footage that was shown at Sony's E3 on their Xbox channel. Pretty much every multiplatform publisher just use the same footage for every platform when advertising them.

Did you read the full quote? They took one sentence he said out of context and turned it into a clickbait headline. All he was saying is that people know the PS4 is full of indies so they don't have to show them at E3 on stage anymore and they have other things they want to push like VR. He also said they are still important. The PS4 still gets tons of indies every week, more than any other console.
Ex Machina comes out tomorrow and is getting great reviews too. And that Uncharted DLC is supposed to be close to the size of a full game.

FIFA Legends has been exclusive to Xbox One for years. They are complaining about it now because they can't get exclusive content anymore with PS4 being so dominant. Xbox started this trend of timed exclusivity last gen. Sure you had no problem with it then.
This is all after they spent their E3 conference announcing timed exclusive indie and early access games while calling them exclusive to trick people.
The same goes for Assassins Creed Origins and they have a marketing deal with Microsoft. Developers don't want to waste resources improving a game for a platform no one owns.
