Do you mean from a business stand point? Why would they? It doesn't benefit them in any way, it benefits Microsoft giving them access to PS4 players.
It would mean people don't need to buy a PS4 to play certain games with their friends on PS4 and can buy an Xbox instead. It would actually be a really dumb business decision. Most people that play games do so on PS4 meaning chances are most people's friends own a PS4, to play with them you must own a PS4...

PS4 gets so many more games than any other console that it is the only console for the players. As someone who buys consoles to play video games that's what I want. Couldn't care less about playing with Xbox players, all of them seem incredibly obnoxious on the internet anyway. Why would I want to play with these toxic people? And if a game is dead on PS4 chances are it dies on every other platforms long ago as PS4 has by far the most players.

No one is saying they bought a PS4 to play PS2 classics, I merely said they are available. Big difference is PS4 gets tons of new games while the Xbox One does not and with the lack of new games Xbox fanboys pretend like old games are a lot more important than they are.
Do you really need me to write a list of exclusives for you? This should be something simple that you can actually research yourself. It would be faster to write a list of months where an exclusive for PS4 didn't come out than the other way around while Xbox goes through long droughts of no games. Last "exclusive" was Dead Rising 4 (which was bad) in October than Halo Wars 2 (which was also bad) in February. The small amount of game son Xbox One is pathetic

Not true at all. PS4 literally has hundreds of more games just for PS4. There is also PSVR which has over 100 games.
If you want you can count PSNow which also has more games than XBOX BC. Than there are PS2 classics.

Every company is for the shareholders you would be an idiot to think otherwise, the biggest difference is Sony shareholders actually care about Playstation while Microsoft shareholders couldn't care less about Xbox. They'd rather it die and MS continue to focus more on Windows which is what seems to be happening.
Even during these "lean" years PS4 got a lot more games than Xbox One whether you count indies or AAA games. If you count indies PS4 has gotten hundreds of newer games than Xbox One.

Yes Sony is for Playstation players, that is what their motto means. Why would they be for Xbox players? Microsoft isn't even for Xbox players. It's not Sony's job to help out Xbox and make it more enticing, that's what Microsoft should be doing and they are failing miserably at it.
