At the advent of patching, xbox live I think, the gaming community cried out that this catastrophe would happen.

Please don't discount your fellow gamers opinion if they didn't care for it. It doesn't makes sense for you to claim that the only people that knock the game, didn't play it.

He is very much entitled to his view and we should work to understand people have different perspectives on resolution and AA.
In his next post he clearly says this is HIS issue, we all know a lot of people don't notice jaggies. Some people are all about resolution.

Before I buy a new toy like a rc helicopter recently, I pulled up yt and was entertained for a spell before buying and playing with it myself and thus stopped watching.
Games same way, I'll occasionally watch 5 min to check out a game before I buy.
However, I watch some let's play because I laugh so hard at the commentary of the people playing. Also I enjoy watching their reactions to games I've played and know what's coming, like tlos.
After the hype I picked up the Legacy Collection last night and started with the mgs3 the one in the 1960s. Man its cool and I dig the extended cut scenes. Yes I would prefer to be doing that halo jump but I was entertained.
I'm going to play them in order of events. An hour in I'm good with the story and I'm going to keep it straight. What I like about the gameplay is there is consequences for my poor choices.

Not demeaning, I'm honestly suggesting you consider your tv input lag.
Game mode vs. Motion dejudder tv controls adds 150ms on mine. Game mode is 24ms. I can tell a huge difference.
AVR that most people use can also add lag even with pass through mode on, and definitely with extra processing enabled on the receiver.
If you're set on that go into controls of the game and adjust steering.

I watch these kids play games then run right outside their apartments and start mowing people down just like the games they were playing.
Now it's me Pavlov's dogs, the console turns on and they start shootin up da place.
There is a place for an inexpensive console that is perfect for some.
Others choose to build a hobby with pc. One day you to may choose that path.
I will put my foot down on this one, there has never been a sheety video game that has came in the same stratosphere of the best Hollywood movies.
However, there are many video games that easily beat the many crappy movies made.
Nice, should be all patched up for me at the steam $20 sale that inevitably comes.
...and maybe I will have played the other two that are backlogged as well.
There is just too much aimless quests in games. Give me a 2 hour movie type story, like Jango. Add great gameplay and then I won't get tired of doing the same mechanic for months.

I'm so far behind in my backlog I have to play the last one on ps3 still.
A couple times a year I play a few hours but have to start a new game each time cause I can't remember the controls or what's going on. and then forget about it and play something else.
I wish they could up res or increase frame rate by playing on psn or something. I can get by with it but. Coming from pc it takes awhile to adapt to the low res and choppy frame rate.
I suppose there could be a segment of non adults that do pay attention to this as part of a rule with their parents.
I really want this but don't know which remaster to re-play first this or tlos.
I know on the ps3 tlos was a great evolution from uncharted for me. I just don't want one to be a let down from the other as Uncharted may have a better remake than tlos?
The idea is not to get ripped off regardless of income, invest the money you save from being frugal.
Then have more money later and possibly help your future family or philanthropy.
Don't give it away to retail.

I just bought mgs Legacy Collection and I have dozens of other things to do on it.
I go back to ps360wii all the time even though I've been spoiled by a 4kpc for over 2 years.
There is also a crazy animal survival apocalypse strategy fighting game, I can't remember the name, that is unreal.
