Redbox has horrible service. I reserved crysis 3 on release day and when I went to pick it up the reader on the machine was broken. I called them from machine and they said they had no way to override system and release the game. I said NASA has probes going to the moons of Jupiter and you can't just access the system and give me the game? Also, I said the service guy was just here to fill up the unit and he didn't check to make sure it worked???

Seeing actual gameplay is. All it takes is a 5 minute GameTrailers walkthrough of a level or something and I can tell if I like the art design, overall feel of the game, movement and whatnot of the characters. Reading a review does not really expose you to the specifics of the game.

OT: this game is a turd. It seems that out of all the Clancy endorsed games, HAWX seems to have the greatest issues. They had a chance to really step it up from the original but instead they tried to add some new features that fall flat. It's like this game was put together with great ideas but each department never looked at what the other departments were doing and they all sent in their code to be super-glued together and then distributed.
Not even taking into consideration our 1st Amendment rights, we are bombarded with movies full of gratuitous violence on a daily basis. Also, the media shoves bite sized tragedy clips at us like they are going out of style.

@gribble. Well it would be safe to assume when downloading an open world title it would just download the map area first. Cut scenes, quests that don't appear til later in game can be downloaded later. Same for all audio. Even in a game like sky rim. You are not going to be able to do everything in 30 minutes.
