for 10 bucks on Steam. I just cant get over the abortion they pulled with the series. I am sure it is "fun" but I am a die hard stealth/Spy vs Merc old man and I want gadgets.
I bought an ASUS laptop strictly for gaming. Cost me $999.00 and has 1 g Nvidia GTX 260M, 6 Gigs DDR2, 17.3 1600 x 900 display. It ran ME2 at the highest settings with no framerate issues and I ran crysis at high (not very high) and it ran pretty damn good. Little framerate drop during big battles....
Anyway, a laptop can be a great gaming rig. I can sit in my recliner with it then adjourn to the bedroom and lay in bed and game some more. I love the portability. Can I upgrade it?...
why would someone not want a game to come out on a certain platform? Excluding a crappy port or something...
I have both so I don't care but if someone only has one console I would love for them to be able to play a game that sounded cool to them. That's the point to gaming. Play games you like.

With "casuals" making there way into the world and the whole SC franchise being targeted towards them, I see the same end as you my friend. Ubi is planning on jumping the PC and going console. Sucks. I can't do anything to make it better but maybe this bubble will help.
but I thought I read somewhere that they are developing the game specific to each platform; that the devs on the PS3 side are making it right for that console and same for 360. If that is true, then the PS3 version is NOT a port and would be most likely very, very pretty.
I played every single SC game and I will NOT be buying this for a number of reasons:
1) No spies vs. Merc. This was the epitome of work as a team. Dropping down on an isolated merc and snapping his neck only to ehar him scream thru his mic for his buddy and just as you drop the smoke and start climbing away you ehar the sound of blind frags from his teammate trying to get you. This was also the first teabag game for me.
2) Stealth is gone. No, ratching up the difficu...
Is a must have. The game sucks you in and really tests your skills. No auto-save BS. Great level design and the graphics are pretty decent. I spent hours and hours invading other people's games thus changing the levels in my own. Total online innovation.
Well, let's see, Mass Effect 2 sure looks better on my PC. Dragons Age, yeah, looks better on my PC. Metro, yup looks better on my PC.
And I will say that Sony (I own a PS3) does have some great games but you can't mod them. Plus, Heavy Rain, God of War (stellar games) don't have multi-player.

I was loaded up on mini nukes and 'nades and pretty much just went thru them all to take him down. The Armoured Spider from DS just about gave me a stroke. Remember, not only do you die a lot, you have to go all the way back to the beginning and work your way there.
I loved DS. Can you imagine if Bethesda and Altus made love and produced a Demons Souls Elder Scrolls child?

It's that when you buy points they rarely equal a price for something. I always find I have to spend MORE money because the item I want is 100 more points than can be purchased with a specific dollar amount. That is where the scam comes in.

Don't know why but well done sandbox games give me hours and hours of enjoyment. Always loved the Old West setting, too.
