I thought The Last Remnant was supposed to be AAA. I bought it and then returned it after 1 hour of play. The game needed another year (even then it would have just been a status quo JRPG).
I'm not getting burned by SE again. If an SE game receives less than 9 on gamerankings or metacritic, I'm not giving it a chance.
It sold terribly, for good reasons. If I wanted to run away from people shooting at me, I would disable my weapons in Half-Life 2. I wonder how fun Halo would be if I couldn't shoot back? (More fun than Mirrors Edge.)
I pre-ordered Halo 2 and showed up at a midnight launch. My pre-order meant nothing. I had to get a ticket, and wait in the same line as those that didn't pre-order. That is biting the hand that feeds you, isn't it?
David Reeves (Sony Europe's President) said about cost cutting the PS3: "But will it be anything as off-strategy as releasing a PS3 with a DVD rather than a Blu-ray drive? I doubt it."
The article is all about MS buying exclusive content and losing money on hardware.
You can't "buy" success. You have to beat the competition. If MS didn't have Halo and Xbox Live, the Xbox would have flopped and Sony would have won. It was superior games that defeated Sony, not money.
I played the original on Xbox. It was amazing. Dark Athena is just more amazingness. It's a must buy.
My only complaint is that some of the story elements are too dark.
Anyone that saw the first video knows that it couldn't be prequel. The Little Sister had grown into a Big Sister.
Yes. That includes GoW developer. They also violated another big no-no. Fixed cameras.
No respectable game designer should ever consider putting QTEs in a video game.

FFVII was revolutionary in terms of graphics and scale. FFX was disappointing in that respect. (Skies of Arcadia was more advanced than FFX.)

GG should not be making a shooter that is to rival Halo or Gears or Half-Life. They lack the expertise.
That excuse is very lame. If they really believed that the controls were intentional, they would have defended them from the very beginning.

How can you "doubt" what is supposed to be impossible?
Maybe PS3 games were on DVDs?
The controls were good on DC, but I hope they put the second stick to good use.
VOOT is a pretty game.
It's a JRPG and they couldn't get it to 720p?
The developer at the Mass Effect forum said to keep your game saves from Mass Effect 1. So, the obvious has been confirmed.
The PS3 version is not confirmed in any way.
It's easy to accuse cell phone companies of overcharging, but what do we know of satellite or radio tower costs?

Global "climate change" is a hoax. Besides, Jesus already saved the world.
Sex in games is cheap and not necessary.
Sqeenix has fallen. Nothing from them has been good since FFVII. Kingdom Hearts was ok. They haven't innovated at all. They are doomed.
