ODST is far better than most games that sell for $60. It is also equal in quality to all other Halo games.
Maybe he should play it first.
On DS
The AI driving is very good considering that they are in a wide open field surrounded by enemies. If the AI was bad, the AI would drive up to an enemy and park in front of him. What FPS has better driving AI?
The original screens were "target" renders. They were pre-rendered cutscenes. This has nothing to do with Xbox 360. Besides, the 360 is more powerful.
BG&E was not as good as the reviewers claim. That's why sales flopped hard. In general, the game-play was highly scripted and contrived. (Like PoP). Somebody at Ubisoft grew a brain and decided to ditch a sequel.
If you install the game, the DVD drive doesn't spin. The only sound you hear is the fan. It's pretty quiet then.
However, I've noticed that certain DVDs make more noise than others. Fable 2 is one DVD that makes a ton of noise. It seems like the DVD hole is off-center and it vibrates horribly. (This also happened with a Gurren Lagan DVD).
I think Jack from Lost looks like John Sheperd in Mass Effect.
They will say anything to trash-talk you into submission. I wouldn't take what they say too seriously.
You all (who bash Activision) sound like liberals. As long as everyone is poor and miserable, than the liberals are happy. If Mirrors Edge or Dead Space succeeded, you would not think EA was good. You would have conspiracy theories and hurl false accusations at EA.
I thought it was cool to get Maxim at first, but then I read a few articles. Maxim is filthy garbage.
This boycott is unecessary. Thanks for speaking the simple truth.
It isn't morally wrong to raise the price of your product. If he raises the price too high, people won't be able to afford it. No boycott is required. (Also, unlike America, the taxes are included in British prices. Blame the government for the high price.)
You all act like Modern Warefare 2 grows on trees. Activision and their developers have a great property that everybody wants. Other publishers release games at budget prices because they are not as good. Where's the praise for those publishers? Where's the "I will buy two and donate money, too!" comments for them?
Firstly, it isn't wrong or evil to want high prices for products you sell.
Secondly, he can wish all the high prices he wants. The reality is that he has no control over the price. He can only charge the amount we are willing to pay. (The same is true for "big oil", too.)
I looked at the video many times and can't see the light. Is it bogus, or am I blind?
Mass Effect is worth $100.

FFX was a technological disappointment when I played it 8 years ago. Fixed cameras, pre-rendered backgrounds, and blocky real-time graphics. The cutscenes were well done.
Skies of Arcadia was a better game then.
It's a promotion by Amazon.com. They are using a popular game to attract hits on their site. Gamers are huge online shoppers.
