Very interesting read! I always found it odd that there was so much new information given to us in the Leviathan DLC but it never resonated throughout the rest of the game, or even in the following DLCs. I mean, sure, the goal of ME3 was to lay the smack down on the Reapers, not learn the history of the galaxy; knowing that and then reading your theory makes me think there's much more story to be told in the Mass Effect universe, and the Leviathan DLC was a hint to that. Bioware told us S...
MS needs to either come up with a use for them or get rid of them. Apart from using them as a gamerpic, Avatars serve precisely zero function.
No kidding.
>complete a Level 24 Strike
>"Uncommon" chest armor
>find a silver loot chest out in the open
>150 Glimmer, Legendary Engram, 2 Helium Filaments and a Strange Coin
I've never actually played any other MGS games (except Ground Zeroes, which doesn't count), but this one looks like it'll be my first. Looks amazing.
That's what I was expecting from Bungie; a really entertaining story. I just beat it a few minutes ago and I was severely disappointed. My god, I've never been so let down story-wise by a game before. There was nothing memorable about it. The characters were few and were hardly two-dimensional let alone three-dimensional. Backstory was nonexistent, they never explain WTF the Traveler is or what the Darkness is or how they function, no explanation for the weird looking humans or the Ex...
Now add a snappable music player that can run in the background and it'll be perfect. The one feature from the 360 that I miss on the X1 is being able to listen to my own music while playing a game.
i c wut u did thar
Yep. EA is making the same mistake with Hardline as they did with BF4. "Release now, fix later."
Elgato is better anyway.
The author probably meant "faster" in terms of frame rate. Or that the player can react more quickly due to the higher frame rate.
Hell, I don't know. All I know is that this game is going to consume sooooo much of my free time after it releases. The wait is real.
Very, very well said. I applaud you, sir.
If only everyone on N4G read this post, then maybe this place wouldn't be such a fanboy cesspool that it's turned into over the past few years. I've never understood why so many of us can't get along. I mean, we're arguing over video games ffs. Controllable pixels moving around on a damn TV screen. Same goes for consoles -- simple hunks of plastic and silicon that can push a certain amount of polygons.
Yes. The multiplayer still isn't perfect but it's a hell of a lot better than it was at launch. Just prepare yourself for the rage-inducing XM25 Airburst and M320 LVG.
As for the campaign... meh. It's not bad but it's nothing that will blow your mind. If you only want the game for the campaign, then $28 is asking far too much.
HALOOOOOOOOOO
Very nice.
No kidding. Or at least give us the ability to alter our character's face after the initial build. There have been so many times where I think it looks good at the creation screen but then I see his/her face in a cutscene and the cheeks are warped or the forehead is too far out or the eyes are too narrow, etc. Then I either have to restart or cringe all the way through the game every time I see his/her face.
But yeah. I agree.
SNES, N64, PS1, PS2, GCN... Super Mario World, Mario Kart 64, Crash Bandicoot, Driv3r, Smash Bros. Melee... ah, good times. I'm 21, so anything before the SNES is foreign to me lel.
Mass Effect has been in a playable state for months, dude. They started mo-cap back in April I think. The lack of any footage from the game is a bit strange, however...
As for Mirror's Edge, I'd say early production. Q4 2015 release at the earliest.
Anyway... I'm not expecting much from Hardline. It would be smart for others to do the same. It's hard to be let down when your expectations are low to begin with, amiright?
As long as I can use the instruments and songs I already own, sign me the f*** up.
ha
It was never explicitly said that the Mass Relays were straight up destroyed. I vaguely remember from the Destroy ending that the relays were heavily damaged, not destroyed beyond repair. So I could see the survivors on Earth repairing the Charon Relay within a few months or years and finally reacquiring contact with the rest of the galaxy.
Speaking of activating the wrong relay... What if it's a relay that connects to another galaxy? I'd hate to see what's on the...
