Red Death last week and Hard Light this week? Nice! Xur is on a roll for once. Now to get the Mythoclast and Gjally and my exotic quest will be complete.
SHOTS FIRED
And yet their other franchises like Metroid, F-Zero, Star Fox, Earthbound, etc. hardly ever see the light of day anymore. Hell, I'm still shocked that a new Star Fox game is actually in development.
LOL
I still think Titanfall could've had a very interesting single-player campaign if it had been made. Seems like a missed opportunity tbh.
Nope, I'm in the US and I see it as free. Maybe do a hard restart on your Xbox? That usually fixes any wonkiness.
Sounds a lot like another game series Activision puts out...
One thing the author left out was the absurd amount of different currency types. Glimmer, Vanguard marks, Vanguard commendations, Crucible marks, Crucible commendations, Motes of Light, Strange Coins, Black Wax Idols (for Eris)... Why? Why is glimmer not the universal currency?
And on the topic of glimmer and why it requires SO much for upgrades and such, why is there no real way to earn it besides popping Ether Seeds/Black Wax Idols/Blue Polyphage/Resupply Codes and grinding...
Good read. I wonder the same thing myself. To me, I really haven't seen a major improvement in game AI for nearly ten years, which is borderline pathetic. Too many game developers are putting far too much effort into making the game look pretty instead of making the AI smarter, and to compensate for the stupid AI, they just throw more enemies in the room or make them more resistant to damage *coughbungiecough*. That's not fun to me; that's just boring and irritating.
Three weeks? Holy crap. I usually get mine in 2-3 days. o_o
And it's wonderful.
I like the idea of having different variations of exotic weapons (solar, arc, void). I'm sure most people that are still playing the game have already obtained most of the exotic weapons by this point and it would be a nice way to keep things interesting. Sure, you may have the solar-based Gjallarhorn, but do you have the void one yet? What about the void-based Icebreaker or the arc-based Truth?
Giving armor an elemental resistance is a good idea as well, although it woul...
I can confirm that this also works on XB1. Was able to rake in about 1300 glimmer with one Black Wax Idol. I haven't managed to score any purple engrams yet but there's been a buttload of greens and a handful of blues.
Might want to get it while it's good, folks. Bungie will patch the hell out of this when they catch wind of it.
^That's pretty much the extent of our knowledge at this point, heh.
I'm done with Amiibos. Scalpers and Nintendo's idiotic underproduction decisions have made me lose every bit of interest I had before. Nintendo can keep playing this stupid game (no pun intended) all they want but I'm not taking part in it.
I suppose my Mario and Samus Amiibos will have to do. Oh well.
Not in normal gameplay, no. The 100% endings of Echoes and Corruption show her in the Zero Suit, however.
I'd hit it.
I can see a new Rock Band or Guitar Hero game coming out within the next few years but I seriously doubt they'll reach the popularity the games had back in 2006-2010.
The real problem is that the whole "be a rock star" fad has died off, which means the expensive plastic instruments required to play the game will be damn near impossible to sell. After all, the ones who still have their old equipment (such as myself) will have to go out and buy the new versions ju...
Joke's on you, Nintendo. I've already gotten comfortable with the Pro Controller. hueheueuheueuhehuehueuheuheuh
Yeah I know. I've been doing Hard Mode runs on VoG recently and have had a relatively easy time so far. Plus I have a 32 Warlock, a 31 Hunter and a 31 Titan, so doing a run with each of them a week should triple my chances of getting a Mytho. As for the Gjally, doing three Crota runs a week along with three Nightfalls should tip the scales in my favor.
Having three characters is immensely helpful when hunting for exotics though. If you can get through the 1-20 grind, it r...
