@n4rc
not even Sony will sell 10m PS4s in 12 months. they might, but history tells us otherwise.
Xbox One will be lucky to sell half of that.
wait, Elite24Gamer? what?
not sure what you're trying to pull...
@kickerz
you clearly haven't read (or chose not to read, or much worse, agree with) the posts on this page... scroll up buddy it doesn't make for good reading.
it's a shame because I'm pretty sure there are loads of decent, Microsoft fans across the internet who don't drag the name of Xbox through the mud but for whatever reason here on n4g we're stuck with the most delusional Xbox camp.
I want to quit n4g for a while...
HOW PATHETIC is the Xbox camp on this site? WTF you guys make me want to cry please stahp ittttt
I'm just glad the world isn't filled with people like you, who knows where we would be? still under the tyranny of an evil government?
anyone who supported the original Xbox One concept is a failure in my eyes and should find another hobby.
Corvette ZR1 clocked the Nordschleife faster than any other Porsche...
awks...
you're a prominent Xbox fanboy/girl so I wouldn't speak if I were you.
by "how negative" they mean how bad the pre-orders were.
@saul
I am admittedly naïve, however Kerry made it abundantly clear (for me anyway) that soldiers would not be deployed on the ground. I don't remember him saying what you quoted but I'll take your word for it. I just remember him pointing out the mistakes of Iraq using that to ensure no troops.
I'm not American, maybe that's why I feel more inclined to believe Kerry as I don't know him too well. I'm pretty sure Americans wo...
Destiny defintely looks like a deep, engrossing game, like a massive, open-world RPG.
Titanfall looks like a nicely accessible game, a spritual successor to CoD almost. I love the competitiveness of twitch shooters so I'll definitely enjoy it.
two different games, offering different experiences. I don't think people should just dismiss Titanfall because it doesn't look "deep". it'll be bucketloads of fun
@dirty
WHAT!
inFamous: Second Son has THE BEST facial animations + voice acting I've seen coming from anything on a next gen console!
even inFamous 2 had very very nice facial animations
am I the only person who just doesn't give an egg about the Oculus Rift? I was waaaay more interested in Illumroom.
and, what is this article doing on n4g?
they clearly said no soldiers on the ground, like a million times cmon man!
Mega Blastoise is INSANE
very very far away from launch.
how did you find a way to spin this? you'd be a fantastic defense attorney, that's your true calling son.
nothing new here, Microsoft promosing you the world but only really giving you a small plastic globe. bending the truth is an understatement.
seriously how do people support a company like this? honest question, not even trolling.
@stuff
no, the consumer version of Illumroom was going to be a projector installed into a Kinect sensor, to be placed on your coffee table.
I'm not sure about limitations, I personally think the only thing needed was big wall space + a room without illumination, but the "multiple projectors" thing was just the concept. ONE projector lens fused into Kinect for retail.
it really is a shame.
by far the most impressive piece of tech the engineers at Microsoft have come up with. it would've been a great advancement in the industry.
I would've bought an Xbox One (after its first price cut) just for Illumroom.
shame :/
honestly no one knows. we could see differences straight out the gate, or later on. Battlefield 4 will tell all
but man I struggle to see anything coming up in the near future on Xbox One looking anywhere near as great as deep down. maybe Halo 5 will be I don't know, but deep down is other world stuff.
actually scared for what Sony Santa Monica & Naughty Dog will show.
