Well, they made the wrong choice if they wanted to promote digital distribution since they sold tons of consoles without any hard drive (arcade models). Another strategic failure by Microsoft. Where do you put your downloaded games if you've got no hard drive ? lol
Latest data shows Sony PS3 is winning the digital distribution battle by :
- providing full games on PSN store (burnout paradise, gran turismo 5, wipeout)
- bringing a hard drive in every PS3 model
Win with what ? There's no exclusive on 360, why would it be different for the next console ?
If I can have the whole MS console library PLUS all the exclusives on the competitor console, then why on earth would I buy the MS console ? Price ok, but otherwise I don't see...
They need more exclusives and more studios. You won't compete with Sony with one or two AAA exclusives a year when they pump 20+ a year.
People with money will always prefer PS3 otherwise. Sad but true.

Yeah, you can feel jealousy and bitterness overflowing in comments and articles, it's quite strange. Can't they just collect the money they need and buy a PS3 if they want those exclusives.
They want PS3 exclusives so bad (esepcially KZ2 and MGS4) they feel they have to find flaws somewhere, it's pathetic.

PS3 used to crush 360 in worldwide sales every week and every month before the last september desperate MS price cut.
That's the only thing that saved the 360 for now. But with nothing released anymore on the 360, I don't see how the 360 bounce could last long...

I know I care as a gamer, and I would feel VERY frustrated right now if I only had a 360 and the only game I could play was 'sales on N4G' (and Halo 2007). Why choose a 360 over a PS3 if you got money ?

MS should at least fix the DPAD, you can't play any fighting game on 360 right now because of that.
