Ah ah it's irrelevant only because you don't understand that this article (like the 100s of other 'Blueray is doooomed' articles) is written by a 12 or 15 year old American kid who is angry because HDDVD lost and died and he can't use his HDDVD xbox drive anymore.
The article makes no sense otherwise, since Blueray is gaining ground faster than DVD ever did. Last time I checked, DVD was a success. So is Blueray then. It's not 'killing itself' at all according to sales.
HDDVD is dead, Blueray and Sony won, get over it kids.
lol kwyjibo
quoted for truth !!
@timmy : yeah exactly, just like that.
Plaese remember Bioshock PS3 had a new difficulty level not available on 360 and nice DLC before trying being sarcastic and making yourself looking stupid.
Same thing for Ninja Gaiden 2 (new bosses, new playable character) and Tales of Vesperia.
Enhanced versions are on PS3, beta tests and unfinished products are on 360.
Splinter Cell: Conviction - New Details Revealed : it will suck.
... while we're playing the best games this gen like Killzone 2, Infamous, MGS4, LBP or Valkyria Chronicles... only on PS3.
new metal gear would be exclusive to PS3, so don't put your hopes too high.
Yeah, sure, I'd feel butthurt like you do if I had no AAA exclusive to play on my last gen box 360.
Buy a PS3 or ask mummy to buy you one. Then become a gamer.
Yeah, that's why MGS 4 was rated 'game of the year' by numerous websites and sold 4.5 million, while absolutely nobody cares about Splinter Cell.
MGS 4 destroys Splinter Cell in story, gameplay, graphics, inovation, music, sound and fun factor, so yeah. Maybe the game box will be better on Splinter Cell though (lol)
Kojima is the master.
I hope they'll improve the graphics and make it close to GT5 graphics.
Forza 2 graphics were not very impressive for a next gen game...
We need more realism in tracks and lap times too. There's a reason real life pilots train on GT and not on Forza.
Nice list I guess, but we need more 2009 games now.
Come on Microsoft, let the exclusives rain.
Splinter Cell will forever be remembered as the poor man's MGS...
Everything about those games scream 'I'm average'.
Even comparing it with the great MGS series is insulting for Kojima. There's a reason why MGS has millions of fans and Splinter Cell almost zero. Talent and genius can't be bought, Microsoft.
But when you have no AAA exclusives released in one year, I guess that's enough to get excited.
@dreamhunk :
PC gaming is dead in case you don't know. Basically the only game played on PC is wow. Nothing sells anymore, not a surprise with such a high piracy rate.
So if anything, PC gaming is years behind PS3 gaming. I used to be a PC gamer a few years ago, but I gave up and went to console gaming, there was nothing released anymore.
Even PS2 games >>>> PC games nowadays...
But go on making yourself look stupid, give me an i...
Then you disagree with nearly everybody, including professional reviewers.
Or (more likely) you don't even have a PS3 and you're trolling because you're stuck with a last gen console with no game called the 360.
Edit : just checked his post history, he's clearly another 12 year old xbot. Keep asking mummy to buy you a PS3.
it's much less limited than the 360 library... Halo 2007 and Gears don't make a game library.
@gof : of course you can. Platinum is reached without DLC, like with other games. DLC may add new trophies, but they won't count towards platinum.
Killzone 2 will stay the best online shooter if they don't improve that quickly...
Still, if you're a 360 only owner, it's better than Halo 2007.
Ah ah ah ! Nice article, it's cool to see someone making fun of all those stupid 12 year old stupid MS fanboy teens and their garbage articles.
Go back to school, kids, or mummy will never buy you a PS3.
Forza is the poor man's GT. No real world pilot trains with Forza, they all use Gran Turismo. Realistic driving, realistic tracks, realistic times, realistic cars.
Keep your toy on the 360, nobody cares about Forza.
Those HDDVD and Xbox kids are really getting desperate right now, it's bordering mental illness.
