It's just gamesmanship. Both games will be great...and gamers will choose what game they like most. BF3 is a hardcore game that relies on teamwork & Mic usage. MW3 is a action military shooter that doesnt require team play or communication.

Yea...I'm with you on that point. I believe ND when they say this because all the uncharted games have made huge leaps each time. I don't however believe in the efforts of Halo's, Madden's, NBA Live, GTA's...because these games have not revolutionize their genres. (in my opinion)

Uncharted took tomb raider, pit fall (old school classic), and movies like Romacing the Stone, Jewel of the Nile, and Indina Jones, and created a masterpiece. This series will be...

What I got out of my Uncharted experience is; developers not only care about their craft, but strive to evolve. naughty dog is an metaphor for German engineering. This is what gamers were expecting when we bought a $600, $500 PS3...and $400, $300 360. I don't care about the console or game wars...its always been about the driving forces behind them. I accept some bad titles, couple hundred thousand faulty units, and game price increases...but snatch & grab ideas, milking consumers, un...

Xbox Live will go from $59.99 to $69.99! (And remarkably....many gamers will still believe/argue that its worth it.)

Easy....Microsoft's marketing strategy is better, and they have more money to burn. I have a 360 for gears, but I like my ps3 better. I would consider myself in between hardcore and serious gamer...so marketing & word games don't work on me like most other people.

People like halo....and Microsoft ran with it. Sony's a smashmouth, and power offense, while Microsoft's a running QB with a spread offense. Neither is bad, but i prefer power football (metephor...

Personally, I don't care which system its on. For consoles, the price of games keep going up....with this BS about big budget for development and marketing. $60+ a game, and I demand promises to be met.

Game industry is taking advantage of gamers.....ALL COMPANIES! Bfbc3 (and all sports titles for that matter) should be $40 bucks...which is the quality they deliver us. I fon't accept excuses, (game play my ass) graphics, game play, online, and well written games, will...

There's no sense in hating on gears of War 3...its hott! Yea, if it were on the PS3, I probably wouldn'tconsider an xbox 360. But exclusives exist mainly because of $ and a little bit if loyality. (cough...capcom, metal gear, mass effect)

I give props to the games, and leave companies/devs out of it. Gears isn't on the PS3 because Sony didn't pay for it. Would the PS3 structure make gears better? Who knows...but its killing on 360, and that deserves props. It&...

AGREED.

Gears of War is a system seller.....just like Uncharted 3 will get 360 gamers to buy a PS3. I love games, so i will buy what's hott. It's just too bad companies are trying to take advantage of gamers...with all these accessories and online fees. (PSN and XBL)

I won't leave you hanging....this game gonna get me to buy a 360. I'm down with PS3, but gears of war is a system seller!

NICE!!!!

For the record...I'm PS3. But, I'm gonna have to get a 360 for this.

360 version will sell the most mw3 copies....because bf3 is not as appealing to them. So, graphics of bf3 (or mw3) won't matter. Personaly, I prefer battlefield cause killstreaks and perks makes mw series too comercial...in my opinion. People like camping, sniping, and unearned perk kills. I'm not hating though...its just a game.

I prefer the bf experience more....regardless of graphics. (360 & ps3 games are pretty much the same graphicaly, except for a few exclus...

I agree with you...but here's the thing:
People see, people do. And I'm not saying that to be mean or call xbox gamers gullible/drones.....just saying that seeing celebrity or friends on a system will intice followers. Sony simply doesn't market as well, because having a system that plays blu rays, games, 3D movies & games, and free online is incredible.

Honestly, if 360 had the features of ps3....I would only buy 360 stuff. Now if ps3 had at least gea...

My only issue with Microsoft is paying to play online. I'm a fanboy of gaming....as I have owned all this gen's systems. For me to play gears online...it will cost more than getting a new ps3. $60 for XBL is a ton if money! Microsoft are excellent at marketing.

PSN is free. Therefore, it should be an acceptable inconvenience for Sony gamers. RROD effected the ongoing charges of an online gaming machin....which MS charged for.

WELL DONE FOR ME. I bought a ps3...so I'm taking some of this credit too. All ps3 owners deserve credit for sticking with the Trey, when gamestop and others tried to hate.

No shocker as I'm use to star treatment from Sony...don't see why others fight the truth. (There is only ONE true HD platform out right now. And no...I'm not making an argument to which one is the best, just speaking facts.)

I feel like M$ brought a "Evil Empire" / NY Yankee swagger to the gaming biz. And yea...I prefer and feel that Sony is better at gaming, but no one can really deny what M$ has been able to do. (For the record: had not been for RROD & XBL fees, I would have kept mines)

However, M$ first party is weak and securing DLC may not be enough to stop Sony from their customary mid-cycle onslaught of new IP's & game innovation. Either way, M$ (as well as Nintendo...

Of course no one is hating on Crytek or DICE, but everyone has seen GOW3, Uncharted 2, Killzone's, MGS4, and GT5. I don't roll with the 360...but I give props to Gears 1, Halo 1, ME1&2, Fable, and Alan Wake. These new developers are not gonna come in here and run Sony out...but I do like to see the battle cry of DICE & Crytek.

Also...people talking bout OCS and battle 2, NEED TO RAISE THE PEIPLE EYEBROW ON RESISTANCE 3! insomniac might have finally gotten i...

Sure, DICE and Crytek are awesome, which is great for gaming. However...people must be sleeping on Insomniac, Naughty Dog, Hideo Kojima, and Guerilla Games.

And I might lose bubbles for saying this, buy Crysis 2 isn't as impressive as Killzone 1 & 2, MGS4, Uncharted 2, or GT5...In My Opinion. Crysis is like Justin Beiber and Nicki Manag, "The New Flavors" of the month, and the hype will die down....leaving people with the style rather than substance. (People...

In my opinion, Battlefield Bad Company 2 was better than Modern Warfare 2. I feel that the FPS multiplay genre has changed for more of a casual audience....(With all the killstreaks,rewards/perks for camping, and Care Packet stuff.)

BFBC2 is kinda the same, but separated by the fact that their battle is at least trying to keep the game experience balanced. I'm not crying bout it....just understand that COD is a pick up and play game, and you don't need teamwork to wi...

Just take the basic average what is known as a successful game launch. Lets say: 1 million sold is a success)

1 million x $60 is a whopping $60 million bucks! This is the lowest, imagine games that sell for 1.5 up to 15 million copies....and all the limited/special editions as well. In todays gaming age, companies and devs are making bank....don't listen to the BS crying, like pro athletes try to pull. Expenses are easily paid for, and there has never been a game that cos...
