BOTTOM LINE, MS STILL HAS HALO, and theres no way of getting around this question: HOW BAD DO YOU WANT IT? I have always pledged myself to everything Playstation, but I also bought a 360 elite, and Halo 3 is pretty awesome.

I HATE ON SOME GAMES (AND SYSTEMS) FROM TIME TO TIME. HALO WAS ONE OF MY TARGETS, AS I AM A SONY GUY.
However, HALO is a great franchise and I plan on buying ODST. (Started playing Halo 3, with my "sweet" priced 360 elite. It's pretty fun too.) I guess I hated Halo because of the racial smack, cry babies over the sniper rifle, and stat punks. Anyway, I loved HALO: COMBAT EVOLVED, and felt like the story went mainstream...just for bucks. I LOVE GAMES....PERIOD. HOWEVER, I REALLY LIKE THE PS3 SYSTEM. UNCHARTED 2 IS MY VOTE, BUT HALO: ODST AND MODERN WARFARE 2 SEEMS TO BE AWESOME AS WELL.
Although I haven't played any of them, the big three (IMO) appears to be HALO: ODST, MODERN WARFARE 2, AND UNCHARTED 2. (Alphabetical order...to avoid fanboyizm) Also, I have an eye on GT5 because word on the street, it is coming out before the end of the year. INSTEAD, MICROSOFT SHOULD FOCUS ON A HALO: COMBAT EVOLVED RE-MAKE! Complete with a few new missions, weponds, and keep the same multi-player maps...just fixed them up a bit. Now, I would like Halo: Reach, but as I stated on another post...the Xbox 360 is maxed out! Therefore, the next Halo game will not get the grand entrance that it deserves. If it does come out on this system though, I still believe that halo: combat Evolved deserves an Encore!
NOW THAT THE PRICE HAS COME DOWN, I HAVE A XBOX 360 ELITE. I have always waved the Playstation flag, but like the 360 and Wii also. I just didn't feel like the other competitors matched up to what the PS3 had, in terms of price/value combo.
However, I have just started to play Halo 3, and I really like it. Plan on checking out ODST as well. I will still continue playing my other multi-player games on my 3. (Exception to Halo on 360) I just can't stand the racial slurs, cheating...
I BELIEVE THAT SHE WAS GETTING AT THE AMOUNT OF WORK THAT NAUGHTY DOG HAS USED ON UNCHARTED GRAPHICAL AND PHYSICS DEVELOPMENT. This is like Gears of War developed with the PS3 Cell Processor. Obviously, the game already looks phenomenal, but on the PS3, (At least graphically and game physics) the game most likely could be pushed further. After that, then YES, the PS3 could have been maxed out, FOR THE UNREAL ENGINE. (there's a reason why Halo and Gears didn't show such a huge leap in graphics...

I find it amusing that Killzone 2 is not receiving the respected hype that it predecessors have. I mean, I could care less what people say about the game, but Game Informer and Edge magazines will NEVER get another red cent of my money.
SF4 and K2 should have shared the GI game of the month (AT LEAST) They talk about how K2 looks so good and the multiplayer is as good as Halo 3, but then give it a 8.75. WHATEVER HATERS!!
Gametrailers, IGN (U.S., AU, and UK), 1UP, and Cheat CC, are the only real source's for games news, info, and reviews. They all scored K2 VERY well. (9+ scores)
Stay away from Gamespot, G4/X-play, Edge, and Game Informer....because they are biased on ALL games.
Watch Aliens and then play Halo: Combat Evolved. Look at the Black dude in Aliens, then look at SGT Johnson. Look at Bill Paxon's Char. in Aliens, then look at the White dude that shouts, "We are all gonna die man!" Look that the assault rifles in Aliens, then look at the ones in Halo. Look at the aliens themselves, then look at the Brutes and Elites in Halo. Look at the vehicles and starship in Aliens, then look at Halo. ANYTHING LOOK FAMILURE?

If you buy this game, don't cry about getting ripped off. RPG's are not 360's strong suit. This Halo game isn't going to sell....most 360 heads know that. What will happen is that the modders will burn this game, and pass it around. These guys need to bring out AlanWake and the Halo Recon expansion. Just like Ninja Gadien 2, Mass Effect, and Too Human sold a lot. In NG2 case, this is a flat out discrase to 360 gamers! I played it on my buddies 360, and the game was sweet. (You would know if you look at the sale numbers.)
360 heads only like the online shooters. In fact, I heard that Japan is using their 360's as furniture! (LOL) MS will rebound from this though...I mean, they will just get the 360 noobs with more DLC content for older games and try to pass Halo Recon off ...
