IGN UK and Gametrailers both gave Killzone 2 a 9.0 or above, which I see as the REAL score to consider when making a decision on a game purchase. (IGN UK-9.4, Gamtrailers-9.2)
Adam Sessler and Morgan Webb gives EVERYTHING a 5 out of 5, and IGN-US, Game Informer, Edge, and the video game "rip off artist" Gamestop/EBGames usually sells themselves to the highest bidder.

You may not want to hear this, but It's evident in the demo that Killzone 2 looks a lot better than many console games. In fact, it could very well be better than both Gears 2 and Halo 3. But you know what....the next Call of Duty, Halo 4, and Gears 3, will most likely be better than Killzone 2. That is the evolution of FPS gaming.

You do know that Killzone 2 is only in 720p, right? Also, I broke down my caparison, explaining how I got to my conclusion. If people would look for it, the date on this playable demo is 2008. I have played the final build, and most of the issues of complaint have been correct. (With the exception of the movement, which is more unique than most FPS.) The final product is MUCH better...AND the multi-player is incredible!

For all the haters on here..LOOK AT THE DATE OF THE DEMO. The final build (Which I have played) is sharper, moves more fluently, and the graphics are brighter.
Also, MOST games will show glitches, as demonstrated by people who like to find them. K2 is a lot better than gears and halo 2 & 3. (Halo: Combat Evolved is lengendary, tied with K2..in my opinion)
Aiming issues have been addressed and you can change your controls to mirror Call of Duty 4.

Killzone 2 is great! Just as good as Halo 1, 2, and 3...and Gears 1 & 2. There is one major differance with Sony However....when gamers have their fill of this great shooter, they can simpley put in Uncharted, God of War, Grand T., Final Fantasy Vs., LBP, Knights, Hevenly Rain, surf the net, or watch Blu ray dvd's. (Also, the PS3 is an upconverting dvd player)

yea, I know I just pissed off alot of people, but the truth is the truth. Resistance 2 is better than this game...no need in bringing COD 4, World at War, Gears 1 or 2, Halo 1, 2, or 3, or even R6 vegas 1 and 2.
The reason I saw this is simple. Look at 1up's review score for Resistance 2.
It was a fair review for the game. I felt that the game was around a solid B. (Mainly because of the multiplayer) Also, people should understand something... A SCORE DOES NOT REPRESENT A GAMES FUN FACTOR! Super Puzzle fighter, PacMan C.E., Geometry Wars (1, 2, and the wii version), and NFL 2k5 (FIRST PERSON VIEW WAS SWEET) are a few games that did not get high review scores.
Killzone 2 is shaping up to be one of the greatest FPS of all time. And YES...I played both BETA builds of the game. A lot of us should have access to the online BETA on the 4th or 5th, which will put this ridiculous article to shame.

I'm quite certain that Hevanly Rain will be out this year. along with HR, God of War 3, Drakes 2, infamous, a Ratchet and Jak apperance, and The Agency, will make it this year as well. However, I am not too sure about Grand T. 4, Final fantasy Vs., or MAG...due to the (HOPEFULLY) successful Killzone 2, and Drakes 2 exclusives.
MS and Nintendo sure hopes that a lot of these games don't come on time, as this combined with a spring price cut coudl do some serious damage to them.
I believe that system sales are based upon release windows. Take the 360 for instance. MS had gamers wait all of 2008 for fable 2, Gears 2, and Left 4 Dead. All great games YES, but did we really need to wait a whole year? Judging by the quality of Gears and L4D, it's fair to say that these games didn't receive much tender love and care. (Lag/serious shotgun host issues with Gears 2, crazy short Left 4 Dead campaign...which looks like it was latterly streamed from the PC via USB flash drive.)...
YES, I am a Sony fan. My reason is because I feel that Sony (And Nintendo) delivers quality gaming products, with extremely low defects in their units. Not hating on MS, but I will only buy it when the system goes to $149.99, because I feel that the RROD thing is bad for bossiness.
