Because they want something they can't seem to get... which is accuracy.
Definitely! It really grows on you. I was extremely skeptical and not interested in this game from the beginning, but after trying the Beta for a while, I'm having a blast!
And it really was smart of them to not drop you into the 256 player battlefield at the start. They start you off at the 64 player ones, and it really feels like real-time training. I actually feel pretty prepared for when I hit Level 10.
So turns out I was wrong to doubt Zipper... pretty impressiv...
I never would have... but for one:

I also saw errors on the national news. But of course, you wouldn't believe me. Most of the typos I see on TV are from the marquee
Then there's the 548 degree city:

If magazines weren't physical copies, I would show you. You don't have to believe me. I'm not asking you to.
I've seen enough typos in magazines, websites and newspapers for me to write a novel. It happens all the time, and no one gets fired for it unless it was offensive.
I can believe if they got fired for fabricating stories, but not typos. Hell, if you go to G4TV.com right now, you can find typos and errors in there that I found months ago... and they're still there.
yyyyyyup.
OK, so let me make sure I understand...
You will gladly go by those statistics, which are based on a survey, but you won't go by GameInformer's survey about 360 failure rates?
Well, just to make sure you understood the survey you praised, these are ONLY percentages for the USA population.... 0.06% of the USA population. Don't believe me?
Convert 200,000 out of the 304,059,724 people living in the US as of July 2008. That makes 0.06%. Try worldwide, where...
MW2 - over 5 million
AC2 - 2.5 million
U2 - 2 million
FFXIII - just under 2 million
FIFA - over 2.5 million
NFS:S - over 1.5 million
Madden - over 1.5 million
Tekken 6 - 1 million
Sorry we have diverse tastes in games. You've had a PS2, you should know what it's like.
BTW, Reality2010 hit you with another good point somewhere down there. You need better material.
That was terrible. You need some work, to be honest.
TheReality2010 has been more entertaining lately. Stop slacking! lol
Well, actually, you can launch into any game you have on disc or downloaded, but not all games will take you directly into the multiplayer lobby.
Listen, dude. Just because it's free doesn't mean anything, you're right. But the fact that they get an average 10 million users and made well over $1 million within their first month says something.
Just because you don't pay for something doesn't mean it's cheap. Somehow, they're making money out of Home without charging us for the access. How? The clothes, furniture and other items available.
They back it up with the games. In some games, if you get a trophy, you ...
I was thinking the same thing. Many don't realize or notice this, but Home was somewhat of a success. Not for the hardcore, but for casuals. In the beginning, all I saw was the hardcore gamers hitting on girl avatars. Although it's still there, I've seen much more casuals than ever before.
Maybe MS shoulda done a different approach with avatars... idk. My avatar looks ridiculous. He's so plain. All I pretty much do is use him to shake his head "yes" or "no".
over 10 million average Home users say "wha??"
Anyway, the only way it would outdo Home is to have it available for free. One of the main reasons so many people visit Home (which, BTW, only takes a few seconds to download a space ONCE and you can download in the background) everyday is because they have hundreds of mini-games and events for FREE. Plus, if you get bored, you can launch straight into any game, which takes literally a few seconds after setting up. Paying f...
Awww, poor 4.7bil trying to defend his EyeToy =(
It's ok. We won't say it'll fail. Instead, how about "not a success"?
Are you that worried and offensive that you have to post 4 times within the hour?
Anyway, 30FPS...... fail. Next!
Hopefully vehicles will be there. You probably have to earn them or something, like you earn leadership.
Zipper has done vehicles before, and pretty nicely. Plus, I remember seeing vehicles in MAG's first debut trailer.
I'm not gonna lie. I was extremely skeptical of this game, but during the time I had with the Beta so far, I've had absolutely no lag and although the aiming and shooting might seem too arcadie for some, it was fine for me. It made it easy to shoot guys from across the large landscape.
I like the jumping. I know, it's small, but when I went into my first game, the semi-rock music started playing and over twenty guys were running along side me. As some of them jumped, they decided...
Dude... are you reading his walls?
"We're playing it right now, and to my standards, it's mediocre."
He already stated his opinion on the game. It's basically what he's been talking about his entire... article thingy. If PS3 owners don't like MAG, they got plenty more to come.
And to both of you. Who gives a F*ck what her IQ is?! She's not paid to cure cancer, people!
Not even half a million? For the whole year? Wow.
I think we all know what console I'm talking about...
Metal Gear Solid 4
Gran Turismo 5: Prologue
Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack in Time
Killzone 2
Uncharted 2: Among Thieves
Soon To Be:
God of War III
Heavy Rain
Gran Turismo 5
Man... this just gets better and better.
