I suppose it depends on what is included with the subscription....
If they have a model where I can have access to unlimited free downloads of PSN games/DLC/ADD ON's etc... for a set amount per month, then I am totally in.
I was stoked about first impression until I read the article....now I dunno, I think it's just rumourmongering at it's best. Everything was plausible right up until the bit about the hairstyle thing.
I am looking forward to this new thing and hopefully it's out by march next year so I can buy it when I'm in New York on holiday.

It's a shame as IMO, DJ hero is a good game, but there is GH5, DJ hero, Tony Hawk's whatever, the increase in price of MW2.... these guys are treading a fine line and it is going to eventually bite them on the arse. I remember the hullabaloo that Kotick created with his thinly veiled threats about the PS3... all for them to, not to put to fine a point on it, screw the gam...
Then the best way to show your disgust is to NOT buy it. Activision is the MOST money orientated publishing company out there. Protest with your wallets guys.
THAT'S what Sony should have been doing from the start. I remember back in the PS1/PS2 days when Phil Harrison would ship a crap load of sony engineers out to help devs that had development troubles.
Not only did it foster a feeling of unity, but it really helped with producing great games.
This seemed to stop with the PS3 back at launch and from many reports suggest, Harrison wasn't happy. I am glad to see that they have finally got the finger out. There is no excus...

The new mac mini's look pretty sweet actually - the server edition one looks particularly cool.
The new top end iMac puts my 6month old macbook pro to shame - maybe try and convince the MRS's into buying one eventually.

While I can agree, to an extent with the sentiments of this, well, it can't really be classed as an 'article' as it's only a couple of paragraphs long there really is no need for it. It's a piece that in design and title is meant to attract fanboys and to be honest, hits.
Now, I do agree that all these smaller sites can help increase news coverage for the industry, when done right and this piece doesn't do that unfortunately.

While I'm the first to say that you should own all the consoles out there, there really is no contest now - the PS3 is far better value for money, six months ago I would have went with the 360, but now it's a no brainer...
The device itself has a feature set that is pretty good, the style is nice and the fact that it has no UMD drive is a plus point for overall size.
BUT my main problem isn't the actual fact that you can't play UMD's on it. I can just about justify this. My problem is the fact that Digital Download games cost the exact same amount as the brick and mortar store. I just can't believe that server/stroage costs equate to the same overheads as the manufacturing process and shipping. I p...

HOWEVER, I do think that a certain division of fans here and at certain other sites are overhyping the game all this nonsense AND I DO MEAN NONSENSE about sites showing bias against sony is just utter rubbish. A game getting in excess of 9.0's out of 10's all round the boar...

Excellent news. Hell, Sega could get this translated very well for next to nowt - give it to the community and have it as a competition, the person who give the best translation will get it into the game.

For the most part, I try never to trade games in for these very reasons. The system abuses those who trade in as the store makes in many cases 100% profit.
It isn't right and as such I won't trade stuff in, even if I don't like the game, saying that though I have no probs buying used games after they have been out for a while, you then usually get good deals and I know that the store has more than likely lost some cash on it.
Well, I could see Apple reconfiguring AppleTV and having that as a media box (as it is now) that can play some digital games. But to be honest, I wouldn't see them being more complicated than what you are seeing on the iPhone.
BUT I personally think that the first new console we will see is the Wii2, the smae control method, maybe Motion plus built in with 720p support.
