As a big Disgaea fan, I am considering getting this game.
I might wait for a price drop.
Alas, poor Waluigi is doomed to only be playable in Mario Karts and Sports spin-off games. He doesn't really have as much notoriety as the other newcomers to warrant a character spot.
Sheesh, that's horrible. If the parents had spoken to Microsoft and explained that it was an accident, they could have gotten their money back. This happens all the time with little kids buying things on their parent's smartphones or tablets.
That's a note to parents. Keep parental controls on anything you don't want your kids to access, especially digital stores that have your credit card on them.
Someone get me my brown paper bag.
SYSTEM SELLER ALERT!

Still, I want a Vita, just waiting for the 2000's to come out in the US.
The Obvious Answer
Smartphones are killing the handheld market. Why pay for a dedicated gaming handheld when you have millions of free apps on your smartphone just at your fingertips. Most people don't have a lot of time to game on the go anyway, these apps are good for killing 5 minutes and then popping them back in your pocket.
The Not-So-Obvious Answer

Not surprising, it's a ridiculously good deal for those who were on the fence switching from 360.
As for people feeling that this is a slap in the face, that's the opportunity cost of being an early adopter. In exchange for getting the right to play the games before anyone else, you give up the right to any future discounts and sales. I hate to be a downer, but that's something you should have thought about when buying day 1.
Most mobile games are free, and you can download them as you wish. Mobile developers primarily make their money off of ad money and micro-transactions.
I'm not going digital until they give me a reason.
Inflexible pricing and $0 trade in value are trade-offs for what? Not having to get off your couch and change discs? I'll pass.
Gotta hand it to Sony. We asked for a games console, and we got one.
Good on them.
Seems like Sony is planning their big indie blowout around March.
Dead Nation (rumored to be free for PS Plus)
Awesomenauts Assemble (March 4)
TowerFall Ascension (March 11)
Stealth Inc. Ultimate Edition (confirmed March release)
SteamWorld Dig (confirmed March release)
Strike Suit Zero: Director's Cut (confirmed March release)
Mercenary Kings (submitted to Sony in early February)
I sense a strategic purpose...
Go play your shootbang.
Us PS fans love a good story-based game.
Weren't we supposed to unfreeze you on the 11th? You were pretty hyped for Titanfall, last time I checked.
OT: Soooo hyped for this game. Now, my new checklist:
1. Get a PS4 :(
2. Get Infamous: SS.
3. Be Happy

Yeah, that's probably true. They might have just been getting rid of some of the dead weight, especially projects that were taking up a lot of resources without much getting done. Some projects get worked on for several years before we even hear anything about them (Last Guardian, amirite?).
My point still stands with the AAA bubble though. That AAA space is getting more crowded, with more games vying for the limited dollars of th...
It's just to increase their profit margin. PS4s are still hard to find everywhere, so if you want to get your hands on a PS4, you have to buy a bundle full of added stuff that you may or may not want. It depends.
Thank god, my PC would be pissed at me for loading all of that onto its HDD.
Nah, I mostly ignore them.
I play for the story, not for the achievements.
You know it has to be said.

I don't even own an Xbox One and I'm impressed.
How many hours do I spend a day?
Not enough. Around 8-12 hours a week. Curse this damned social life, why do I have to have one anyway?
