It's possible, but I don't see what the point is. The XBOs upscaler was just going to output at 1080p (not native) anyways. Pushing the resolution would make the textures crappier, so why would you do that?
"Is it really necessary to upgrade?"
The same could be said for either console. I'm currently very happy with my PS3, and I don't intend on upgrading until holiday 2014 at the earliest.
I'm sure the PS4 has plenty of years left in it. The 360 still has Titanfall and big name franchises like Halo coming out. No one will absolutely need to upgrade for awhile.
Meh, it's an alright game, but there's nothing much that gets me really excited about it. I've never played the original thief series.
PS3 is 3rd in sales.
Vita beats XBO in Europe.
Wow, Titanfall better be as good as Halo 2, Gears 1, Forza 4, and Call of Duty combined if they want to have any chance at catching PS4.
I think Microsoft's aim is to keep 360 players in the Xbox ecosystem by having them move to Xbox One.
I don't think many PS3 gamers will move to Xbox One.
I have a feeling a lot more devs are patrolling GAF nowadays. Anytime a rumour comes up, they seem to be a lot quicker to shoot it down. They're probably up to CBOAT and are monitoring whenever he posts.
I'm banned from GAF until March 1st, but stuff like that can get you a perma-ban if you're not careful.
It's pretty obvious that they're paying GameStop to advertise the XBO.
This is their biggest game of 2014, and they're going to push it to the moon, bad PR and conspiracies be damned.
Of course it will sell XBOs. The question is, how many?
It's got about a 1-1.5 month window before we start moving on to the next big thing, so I'm not sure if it will make up the WW sales gap, but it could potentially even up the race in the US, which still has a lot of 360-loyalists still on the fence, looking for a reason to stay in the ecosystem. PS4 is looking for them to jump ship with Infamous: SS. Will they win hearts? We will see.
Good lord @ that mandatory install. Microsoft needs to get working on the external hard drive solution. That 500 GB isn't going to last at this rate.
Yes. I remember when the guys at Podcast Unlocked said you couldn't tell the difference between the two unless you were on a 27" or greater monitor.
I know they're the XBOX podcast, but that is plain ignorant.
It's pretty good. I'll wait until it either
1. Goes on sale for PC ($30 is my price)
2. Gets a PS3/4 sequel
I'd pay $10k for it lol
Who says games aren't an art form?
OMG It's real!
Wow, I need a Vita, I'm just waiting for a Slim Vita to come out in the US and another memory card price drop.
I'm not sure what people were expecting them to say. This is an XBOX podcast. Of course they were going to emphasize their strengths and downplay their weaknesses.
So relevant it hurts:

However, I'm a little bit apprehensive. The way The Last of Us ended, artistically, I'm not sure if they should do a sequel. At least not another story about Joel and Ellie, their story is over. Whether they decide to or not, I'll fully support Naughty Dog all the way.
$0 Trade in value is a deal-breaker.
Give me discs or give me death
That's horrible for the laid-off people at SSM. I hope those employees can get new jobs quickly a la Irrational Games.
I can't help but feel that the AAA bubble is becoming too large for it's own good. Everybody is so concerned with getting the next Call of Duty or the next Halo, they're not realizing that the margins for profits are getting smaller, and that they're spending more than is feasible on AAA games. Just one failed project can lead to the shut ...
