Agreed. It's doing good, but it's not doing PS4 good, and that's the problem. Their problem is that the PS4 is just being seen as the better value right now. Casuals may not understand concrete numbers like 1080p or "8 GB GDDR5 ZOMG" (remember that GAF thread?) But they will hear that one console is more powerful or is cheaper than another and that will factor into their decision. Not to mention all the mistrust Microsoft has after the botched E3 reveal.

If you love multiplayer FPS and can burn 100s of hours on it without breaking a sweat, then hell yeah, go for it.
If you're more casual or SP-focused, then wait until it's on sale.

OT: This shouldn't be surprising. Titanfall was made and marketed towards the casual gamer. The inclusion of bots and the de-emphasis of K/D makes the game very appealing for casuals or those unskilled at FPS games.
If you prefer competitive FPS games, give Black Ops II a go.
