Meh. Games take 2-3 years to develop and the consoles have only been out about a year.
It can't really be helped. The rise of smartphones meant the writing was on the wall for handhelds, especially in the US. The 3DS is chugging along because of big names like Pokemon, and the Vita still sells well in Japan, but the smartphone juggernaut is just too much.
I don't buy movie tie-in games, and neither should you.

People are forgetting that ALL of Sony's first party studios are making PS4 games.
I think PS4 will be fine.

Titanfall - Lack of content and terrible matchmaking.
Watch Doge - Bad story and visual downgrades aplenty.
MGSV:GZ - The fact that Kojima was rolling around in a bathtub of money as we realized it was an extended demo.
It looks very nice, though I don't expect it until 2016.
