This is Remedy we're talking about here. Delays are to be expected.
Lame. This game has the potential to be great, but it gets bogged down with the lack of content and shoddy matchmaking, which gives it poor replay value.
Look at this excerpt too.
"Your Journey Begins in 2014"
"Many fans noted that I was very deliberate with my phrasing on stage at E3 last year. I spoke about a “journey,” rather than a destination – and that journey definitely begins in 2014 with a giant leap, rather than one small step."
2014, when Halo 5 doesn't come out until 2015? That basically confirms Halo 2 Anniversary.

These sales numbers showed why they needed to drop the Kinect, they're pitiful.
We're trying to bring it back, but people like you keep it dead.
Bubbled down for trolling.
All next-gen Re-spawns should be like this. Just imagine rising from a gold sarcophagus in Call of Duty.
Or dropping from a spaceship in Destiny!...Oh wait.
@Blazer It's probably going to cost more than $100, since they said the original $499 bundle is still going to exist. If it costs less than that, they might as well kill the original bundle.
@Crazy Kinect being removed as a pack in has basically doomed it to irrelevancy as far as games and support is concerned. It's good for some, but it's bad for early adopters who were forced to buy what is now a $100 remote.
I might think about getting the sys...
Of course it matters. Good for consumers and Microsoft because of the decreased price, they can expect an uptick in sales. It's bad for early adopters and studios that were making Kinect games like Harmonix, because this move essentially doomed the Kinect to irrelevancy. Devs and early adopters were promised universal Kinect support, now we're all left with a $100 TV remote.
I feel it's probably because of the age of the hardware, and the still high price. On Amazon, the cheapest PS3 bundle is the 500GB+TLOU Bundle for $250. Another game along with it would run you up to $300+ Instead of spending all that money on a 7-8 year old system, why not burn a few more dollars and just upgrade to the next one with a longer life ahead of it? PS3 is still a good deal, and Sony likes to sell it in emerging markets.
60fps on an open world game? Wow, I'm shocked. I just hope there aren't any big graphical downgrades.
It's just that Europeans are upset because the conference is being held for them at 2AM. I don't see what the big deal is. Just go to sleep and set your alarm for 1:30. When the conference is over, go back to sleep.
To be fair, Kotaku is hardly about gaming anymore. It's more about geek culture in general.
But yes, they do suck.
I wonder why I don't get any calls in this game. I double tap circle and my guy falls over, but no foul? Come on refs, stop cashing those checks.
Hold up.
Let's see some multiplayer gameplay first.
That's it?
They would've been better off just telling us to wait for E3.
Yeah, I have to agree with this, though I also find it a little sad that Insomniac has decided on trying to retain the IP so much now, even though I understand they don't want to be betrothed to a single publisher in case the game doesn't do well or becomes a hit. If this is their focus going forward, then it might make it difficult for them to work with Sony going forward given they have a policy of only funding games if they own the IP. They don't want to get burned like they di...

A little cluttered, but it looks awesome.
I'm doubtful, at best. When Insomniac signed that deal with Microsoft, it probably included a contract for right of first refusal for publishing future titles, same as how Respawn worked for Titanfall. I'm assuming if the game sells a certain number of copies, then MS automatically gets publishing rights of the next game.
That's how it usually works, so I wouldn't get my hopes up for a PS4 sequel unless it doesn't meet expectations, or someone does a BioWa...
